Firstly, we would like to say congratulations and thank you to ORC Guitar Tutor Andrew French-Northam who has been appointed as Director of Upper Hunter Conservatorium of Music, we will all miss him around here and wish him the best of luck. 21.01.2022 Teachers are concerned a ban on orchestras and ensembles will impact HSC students the most.

19.01.2022 Orange City Council have supported the Development Application for the new Conservatorium building! The project now moves on to the Western Regional Planning Panel for final approval. Another step closer to reality!

19.01.2022 This past Saturday bought the Sydney Youth Orchestra’s String Quintet to Orange for a morning of working with local students. This is one of the many unique educational experiences we provide for all music students from the Orange region. Keep an eye out for a few more before the year is out.

The ORC invites all young, passionate musicians from Orange and the local surrounding regions to apply for scholarships for 2021. A wide variety of music tuition scholarships are available for students aged 8-21 years of age. ORC students and ensemble members are part of a supportive, fun and engaging music community made up of individuals of all ages, sk...ill levels and backgrounds.
