18.01.2022 Ignoring the signs Have you ever made a large mistake and wondered ‘what happened, why didn’t I see the signs?’ After making a number of mistakes in my life (and I’ve made a few), on reflection the signs were always there. They were either loved ones with good advice who knew me better, or my gut was saying no, but my ego saying yes.... The signs were there, but foolishly, and sometimes, repeatedly, I chose to ignore them. English poet, Alexander Pope’s advice of ‘To err is human’ offers little solace if you’ve lost a business, your reputation or a relationship.
