20.01.2022 A huge congratulations to the six people born across the globe who became Australian Citizens today. Mayor Reg Kidd and Andrew Gee MP conducted the first citizenship ceremony held in Council chambers since March. Our latest citizens came from England, Sudan, Pakistan, New Zealand and Zimbabwe.

03.01.2022 A quick picture to capture some happy faces at the Mums and Bubs group today (some had already left!) - making masks was the order of the day, as well as some enjoying an English class with Emily. We realise some who were planning to come along, just could not manage it with this terrible weather! All enjoyed a nice morning tea with a delicious banana and pineapple cake made and served by Emily.

01.01.2022 We will keep sewing microwave " bowls" at Mum's n Bubs Sewing n English Group at Senior Citizens Orange 10am to 12.30pm Friday 13 November 2020 This is very useful microwave bowl - although I did not know I needed it! Great for hot soups/noodles (carry handles for when dish is hot, easy to eat on "lap" with! As some did not finish and as we all need at least two - come along and try it, if you come early you will complete it in one session.
