25.01.2022 Brian had an interesting day with his Boomarang with a new petrol motor. He did save the model on both landing attempts.

19.01.2022 A mixed day at OMAC with more mowing some wind and rain showers and a great lunch with good company. Hay bailing and mowing in the out field meant no out landings!!

08.01.2022 You must not fly your drone higher than 120 metres (400 feet). But why? Manned aircraft do not usually operate below 150 metres (500 feet) above ground level un...less they are near an aerodrome or performing some form of emergency operation work. Operating below 120 metres aims to provide a buffer between drones and manned aircraft. Wondering how to measure 120 metres? It’s about the height of a 35-storey building, or the length of a football field. It’s your responsibility to know the height of the drone and keep it below 120 metres at all times during a flight. For more information on the maximum height rule, take a look in our Plain English Guide: https://bit.ly/3jwcYlX

06.01.2022 If you fly a drone, or remotely piloted aircraft (RPA), for business or as part of your job, you’ll soon need to get an RPA operator accreditation to fly it. Yo...u do not need an RPA operator accreditation if: you hold a remote pilot licence (RePL) you only fly you drone for sport or recreation, including model aircraft association members flying at CASA-approved model airfields. Watch our step-by-step guide on how to get an RPA operator accreditation. Find out more: https://www.casa.gov.au/know/registration-and-accreditation

04.01.2022 Edward flew his Mavic Air 2 and checked out the out field.
