25.01.2022 As it’s raining now and there’s more to come this afternoon, the decision has been made to *CANCEL* today’s frisbee. A ground inspection identified a majority of ‘squelch’ with a touch of ‘splash’, and generally poor conditions for running and throwing. Take a week off, put your feet up, and have a gander at this highlight reel. Catch you next week!

21.01.2022 Frisbee today is ON! Grab your joggers and a water bottle and head over to Max Stewart Park (off Sieben Drive) at 5:30 this afternoon for a game. All are welcome. If you’ve never thrown a round piece of plastic before, we’ll show you how!

21.01.2022 Yay - It’s Friday. That means it’s nearly the weekend, which means it’s nearly time for our second Frisbee game on Monday afternoon at 5pm. If anyone is planning to have a practice throw over the weekend, check out this instructional video of how to throw a forehand. Note the ‘wrist snap’ he talks about, which is similar to flicking a towel at someone. Hope to see you there on Monday! (Note: we don’t condone flicking towels at anyone)

20.01.2022 Great turnout today for our first ever run. Thanks all for coming along or passing along the word. We'll be doing this every Monday at 5pm up until Easter. Our Social Media team forgot to take a photo today, so here's an image of the game as drawn in MS-Paint.

20.01.2022 As the BOM is still saying thunderstorms are likely, and it’s just started to rain in places, sadly we think it’s best to cancel frisbee for today. We’ll make the next session on Monday Feb 17th a big one.

16.01.2022 Reminder: Frisbee at Brendon Sturgeon Oval Mondays from 5pm. We only have 4 more sessions before daylight saving time finishes and it will be too dim for throwing round bits of hard plastic at each other (safely). See if you can make it down for a bit of fun tomorrow!

14.01.2022 So it's pretty wet out there right now and our trusty Bureau of Meteorology says there's more rain on the way. We'll make a call by 3pm on Monday whether Frisbee is on or not. Stay tuned

14.01.2022 So, our good friends at the Bureau are telling us there's a good chance of thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon/evening. The general policy is for games to continue in the rain (up to a point), however lightning will lead to a cancellation. At this stage, assume games are ON, but keep an eye on this page for updates. There are 2 points up for grabs tomorrow in the Kings/Queens comp, so don't risk missing out because of a bit of meteorological fortune-telling!

11.01.2022 The sun is shining so we’re assuming that frisbee this afternoon is ON! There’s a chance of some rain and storms later this afternoon, so we’ll make a final call at 3:30 pm when we know what weather is headed this way. Hoping to see you there

09.01.2022 Our first run-around will be on Monday 27th January from 5pm. Come to Brendon Sturgeon Oval for a throw and a pick up game or two. Bring water, cleats (if you have them), a disc (if you have one) and a light and dark shirt.

05.01.2022 And now, for something (a little bit) different For the last 5 weeks of 2020, starting this afternoon, we’ll be running a ‘Kings and Queens of Frisbee’ competition. This works by playing a match each week, and every player on the winning team gets 2 points, and 1 point for players on the other team. Teams are mixed up each week so you’ll be playing with different people. At the end of 5 weeks we tally up the scores, and the male and female with the most points are crowned as King and Queen! A royal good time!

01.01.2022 **CHANGE OF LOCATION** After excellent turnouts the last few weeks, this Monday we’re heading back to our original fields at Brendon Sturgeon Oval, near the roundabout of Anson and Heatherbrae.
