25.01.2022 Did you know that plantarfasciitis can be treated and in most cases completely resolved without surgery? Plantarfasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain which can effect people of all ages and activity levels (although there are factors such as increased time on feet, shape of feet and increased time on feet that increase your risk) Although there has been limited study on all the forms of treatment that can be of most benefit there is support for biomechanical... treatments that target deficits around the foot and provide support in both reducing pain initially and long term If you have any more questions or would like to know more about what would most benefit your heel pain feel free to give us a call on (02) 6363 1031 https://www.researchgate.net//7426924_Plantar_Fasciitis_Ev https://www.podiatrytoday.com/evidence-based-medicine-appro https://www.podiatrytoday.com/evidence-based-medicine-appro https://heelthatpain.com/evidence-based-treatments/

But if you know yourself that we do online bookings, you can make a booking for Monday by clicking the book now icon on our Facebook page. Take Care and have a great weekend. (excuse the confusing language above, if you don't get it, ask someone who has never heard of the Eagles or Oasis).

20.01.2022 We're extremely proud to be involved with such a great club, not just in opens, but all the way down to wallas. The trophies that the club won on Saturday were obviously great, however the junior and senior club championships the club attained throughout the season showed the overall strength of this sporting community. Congratulations to all involved, in particular Campbell Hedley and Kerryn Phillips for all your hard work.

18.01.2022 Unfortunately we are closed tomorrow but we are open again Monday 8am-6pm. Have a safe and wonderful weekend!

12.01.2022 A reminder on our upcoming opening hours over the next week and a half. If you do happen to hurt your back putting up that jungle gym for the kids over the break, book online!!! Have a great Christmas break everyone!!!

11.01.2022 Ahh October!!! Not only the temporary home for sports finals, but also the time of the year for 2 certainties. 1. Bloody swooping magpies 2. Hamstring injuries!!! Before you go out and tear around on the touch football field, charge in to the practice net to bowl thunderbolts or decide to do a deep water start with your back foot out (water skiing reference), think about what you have been doing over the last 3 months. Have you been staying relatively active, or have you been... sitting a lot??? Does your hamstring have the strength and elasticity to cope with the demands with what you are about to put it through??? If not, scale back how hard you are about to work your hamstring, start a hamstring prevention exercise program, or use our online booking option (link is on our Facebook page) and make an appointment (as there’s a pretty good chance you’ll need one). Have a great week, and stay safe out there. See more

10.01.2022 Do you want to avoid a hamstring strain/injury??? Have you previously had this injury before or seen it happen over and over again to friends/family? Hamstring injuries are one of the most common leg injuries, accounting for up to 1 in 3 injuries in some sports, and they can be prevented!... We have created a brief information sheet with a couple of exercises that can reduce you risk of this common injury- COMING SOON to the orange physiotherapy website, under downloadable resources

08.01.2022 Did you know that Macauley Culkin did not appear on the big screen until he was 8 years old??? So, going by that logic, we’re more successful than Kevin McCallister!!! We have now been treating the injured people of Orange for 8 years!!! And we are looking forward to helping everyone in the area for at least 8 more (which by then we’ll be 16 years old, which we can probably say we are in a better spot than Culkin once again!!!!!). Have a great week!!!!!

08.01.2022 Queensland border reopens??? That isn’t big news!!! We have been open Saturdays all through this pandemic!!! Need to see us, then book online, or call (02) 6363 1031 after 8am. Have a great weekend!!!

07.01.2022 https://www.centralwesterndaily.com.au//clancy-pye-leads/ What a legend

03.01.2022 Hurt your back putting together an elaborate kids toy? tear your hamstring trying a deep water start (despite the fact you haven't tried skiing for 8 years??? Book online as we are open tomorrow. Hope the break was great!!!

03.01.2022 Wowee that was a cold and wet weekend in Orange!!! There is varied evidence on the effect of wet weather conditions on the incidence rate of concussions. A study completed in 2017 on AFL players over 14 years showed concussion rates almost halved, attributing this to a decrease in the speed of play and velocity of collisions. However, in a study of the NFL, it was found that concussion reported rates increased 2-fold, potentially attributed to a decrease in body position control due to the unstable playing surface. What should not be debatable is the identification of concussions, particularly now that our sports seasons are well underway. If a player you look after, or a teammate has any signs of concussion, assume they are concussed until proven otherwise. If in doubt, sit them out. Stay safe and have a great week!!!
