22.01.2022 SEASON 2020: DOING THINGS DIFFERENTLY FOR those valued customers who have already started asking, our Washington Navel oranges are not yet near ready. In fact, they are more ‘yellows’ than ‘oranges’ right now sales do not usually start until the end of June or early July. That’s when the acid to sugar balance starts to hit its sweet spot. It's those nippy nights that turn the skin colour to gold. And this year, all things considered, we will be doing things differently. Har...ry and Cheryl have retired from selling fruit from their Swan Valley farm and home, and will be directing their energy into new projects. However, talks are underway that should see our oranges available from one or two other fresh produce outlets very close to home. Stay safe and stay tuned.as soon as our Washingtons are ripe for the picking and talks are finalised, we will post on here where and when to head for your fix of tree-ripened fresh oranges this year. 12.01.2022 HERE'S WHERE TO FIND THEM... We are pleased to announce that the 2020 season has now kicked off, with our fresh, tree-ripened Washington navels now available from the following Swan Valley fresh produce outlets; Heng’s HDH Fresh West Swan fruit and vegetable outlet, just down the road on Cranleigh Street.... This is on the north side of Cranleigh Street, just across from the Margaret River Chocolate Factory - what a strange name for a chocolate factory in our beautiful #swanvalley! Heng is open 9.30am to 5.30pm 7 days. If you're nearer Caversham, why not call in and meet the Tolich family at Baba and Dida’s fresh fruit and vegetables, 2540 West Swan Road, Caversham. Open Friday to Sunday Sales of fruit from our trees started this weekend at the above outlets. Please note we no longer sell fruit to the general public from our home farm.
