25.01.2022 Randwick Council is now the first council in New South Wales to allocate a portion of affordable housing units to women and children escaping domestic violence.... With incidents of domestic violence in Randwick City sitting at 11.2% above state average, the move is a crucial step in freeing up refuge space for people requiring crisis accommodation. http://ow.ly/Z5n350h8pK3 See more

Donations to White Ribbon and Housing Plus (50/50) are still open! Help prevent violence and build a Domestic Violence Crisis Centre in Orange. http://2017whiteribbontreadmillrelay.gofundraise.com.au

14.01.2022 A huge shout out to the Little Green Truck Orange NSW who stepped in a very short notice to sort our treadmill transport! In a word amazing! The best guys to work with, nothing was too hard and they were only too happy to donate their time to the cause. Fantastic job gents, thank you!!
13.01.2022 Today we stand up, speak out and act to prevent men’s violence against women for White Ribbon day 2018. To demonstrate this, we have 62 women in silent protest in respect for the lives lost from violence. Some pictures from today
11.01.2022 "There is an urgent need to challenge any comments that normalise or excuse male violence, for example media reports that suggest circumstances somehow explain or even excuse the perpetrator’s actions."
09.01.2022 Domino's Pizza are here representing! It's great to see so much support amongst the Orange business community. Stand up, speak out.
09.01.2022 Thanks so much to our friend Kirrily Dear who ran a treadmill marathon last night then backed up today. Each team or individual ran in memory of an Australian woman who has lost her life through violent means. Thanks to everyone who helped us make our event such a success!
07.01.2022 This year in Australia more than 60 women have died from violence perpetrated my men. This #whiteribbon day #orangesaysno to men's violence against women.
04.01.2022 Great work Wagga!
03.01.2022 We need your help to make the Domestic Violence refuge in Orange a reality. Some very vocal people in Orange have persuaded 4 councillors to put a re-vote on the DA before council tomorrow night. Any delay at this stage puts funding in question and might potentially see the whole project slip away from us. We are asking people to come to the meeting , pack the seats and show council what a crowd supporting this DA looks like. The meeting is on Tuesday night 19th Feb at 7pm at the Council Chambers. Please wear white to show your support, arrive early to ensure you can get a seat - it's likely to be standing room only! Stand up, speak out.

01.01.2022 Women who have experienced domestic violence or abuse are at a significantly higher risk of experiencing a range of mental health conditions including post-trau...matic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and thoughts of suicide. If you're experiencing or recovering from a domestic violence relationship, give LikeMind Orange a call. In partnership with Housing Plus we'll link you up with a range of supports. #mentalhealth #domesticviolence #likemind #aftercare #housingplus
