22.01.2022 Changes to the Minister’s Rules on the Child Care Subsidy (known as the Child Care Subsidy Amendment (Coronavirus Economic Response Package) Minister’s Rules 20...20) have been published. The key points are: - A child will be allowed an extra 20 allowable absences for 2019-20, bringing the total up to 62 days, commencing around 19 April. - Parents will not require a medical certificate to claim additional absences (on top of the 62 days), taking effect in the next few days. To ...balance your payments, we'll ask you to either lodge a tax return, or let us know that you don't need to lodge one and confirm your income. If you aren’t sure if lodging a tax return is the right thing for you to do, you can use the @ATOgovau’s online tool to check if you need to lodge a tax return: https://www.ato.gov.au/Calculators-and-tools/Host/ There is no rush to lodge your tax return in July. If you can wait to lodge, please do. Waiting will make sure your tax return is as accurate as possible because all your pre-fill information should be available in myTax by late July. Playdough, colouring, cutting, gluing, playing outside, digging in dirt, sensory play, dress up play, science experiments, beading, puzzles, throwing balls, etc. All of these things help their hands develop.
