24.01.2022 Orara 9 and crew and Captain Tom working blacking out and patrolling part of the Liberation trail fire on the southern boundary between the Bobo river and Little Nymboida river until the storms come rolling through today. Feel free to share this post folks.

20.01.2022 Tuesday afternoon training with 5 of the 6 new recruits that have joined Orara RFS recently - great to see locals supporting their community and learning new skills in the process.

11.01.2022 The ultimate sacrifice paid by 2 of our brothers from Horsley Park RFS at the Green Wattle Creek fire last night-a speedy recovery for the 3 other firefighters injured.

11.01.2022 Saturday 30th Nov back on the Liberation fire boundary patrol again with Tom and Rob-great news is this fire is now officially declared under control-ya. Crews catching up at the Coramba hotel fundraiser on the Saturday afternoon-a great event, thank you Coramba hotel.

07.01.2022 Orara crew with Orara 1 and Orara 9 have been on property protection since 7pm Friday on Mount Brown Rd Upper Orara along with other Coffs Harbour RFS crews-impact just starting at 04:30.

05.01.2022 This Sunday 2nd August from midday is our monthly training and social BBQ day at Orara Fire Station-come along and catch up or join up or just get info for the upcoming fire season.

05.01.2022 Orara crew with trainees on Tuesday afternoon at the Magic pools doing hose work-pumps and suction drill. Finished off with a bbq and our last monthly meeting until the end of this Covid-19 crisis.

02.01.2022 The Orara Rural Fire Service 2019 Christmas party. With the resulting rain the firies were able to wind down and enjoy a good feed with plenty to drink, a tall tale or two, swimming in the pool and a new pinball on freeplay provided by Coffs Coast Amusements. Special thanks go to Stuart and Judy from Friday Creek Retreat for providing their beautiful venue for free.
