22.01.2022 BUSHFIRE RECOVERY: Council and the NSW Government are committed to supporting the community as it recovers from the 2019 bushfires. The NSW Government and Counc...il will shortly be checking in with residents who were affected by the Orara Valley fires via a survey. A link to the survey will be sent out via email - so please keep an eye on your inbox! This survey will help us: Better understand your needs and identify how we can continue to support you and the community. Keep you informed about what assistance is available and help refer you to other recovery support services. Connecting with impacted community members helps us provide relevant, ongoing support. (We know that email doesn’t work for everyone so - once the emails go out - the Red Cross will also be providing phone support to assist people to complete the survey). For all current bushfire recovery information, please go to https://haveyoursay.coffsharbour.nsw.gov.au/bushfire-recove See more

08.01.2022 Watch out, wildlife about! There's a full moon November 30th, 2020. We're almost there. Please watch out as wildlife are way more active near roads at this time... & they're dying to get home too! Be present / mindful whilst driving and please stop and help if you do inadvertently hit something. Animals have pain receptors too & being a good and kind #humanebeing means stopping, rescuing & providing safety, comfort & shelter to any animal until help arrives. #fullmoon #fullmoonandwildlife #humane #sharingplanetearth #wildlife #wildlifematters #bekind

05.01.2022 HAS YOUR NOT-FOR-PROFIT OR COMMUNITY ORGANISATION BEEN IMPACTED BY COVID-19? Then our partners The Xfactor Collective - Social Impact Community would love to he...ar from you. They just launched the RESET 2020 September Survey to measure the ongoing and evolving impacts of COVID-19 on community groups, not-for-profits, charities and all those working in the sector - to identify where additional or ongoing support is needed. ALL social sector organisations are invited to participate, and the results of the study will be shared widely with sector leaders. It's really important that rural, regional and remote voices are heard and our experiences reflected in the insights - so we hope you will all contribute to the survey and have YOUR say. Participate in the survey now: https://www.asr2.com/surveymatters/anon/2183.aspx The survey is open between 28 September - 18 October. #Reset2020 #ReCalibrate #Reinvent #Reorganise #Capacity #Building #Covid19 #StrongerTogether
