15.01.2022 Coronavirus Update Dear parents, The safety of our students and staff is always our first consideration. As the situation around the Coronavirus continues to de...velop, please be reassured that we are following DET advice and protocols that are based on the advice of the Nation’s Chief Medical and Health Officers. At this point this advice does not include closing schools. We are being provided with daily updates, including across weekends, and if anything changes, we will inform our school community immediately of the changes and the purpose for making them. The advice we have received is that our Year 7 Gelantipy camp should still go ahead and we should continue to promote personal hygiene measures such as proper washing of hands. To this end we will be taking extra soap and hand sanitizer to Gelantipy. We have also provided soap and hand sanitizer in key locations around the school and there are many posters highlighting correct hygiene procedures. In the event that we ever have to close our school, the use of Compass to provide material for students will ensure that disruptions are minimised.
