14.02.2022 Our ongoing commitment to the continuous improvement and development of our Civil Construction Training service has again been recognised with confirmation that we're a finalist in the 2015 CSQ Awards for RTO of the year. We're particularly proud of our achievement in releasing our own Civil Construction Training app, our successes in industry engagement and most importantly with the high quality level of training that our dedicated team of senior trainers have delivered righ...t across the state. Our government audit reflected our 100% level of compliance and our feedback from both trainees and their employees was again exceptional. We're crossing our fingers for success this year and we're already working on new initiatives to continue to expand our reputation as an industry leader in our field. We look forward to catching up with friends and clients across the industry at this year's awards night.

Our Smart Mobile Learning service has been very well received in the ACT and our ability to provide the same cutting edge technologies together with same high level of on the spot workplace training has created a very positive experience for both ourselves and our new clients. 19.01.2022 ASQA AUDIT Orbus3 were audit by Australia Skills Quality Authority to the new 2015 Standards and found to have no non-compliances. This was a major achievement and endorsement of our quality polices and procedures given that it was two months ahead of the required compliance deadline of April 1st.

13.01.2022 Orbus3 Launch Training Assessment App for Ipad. We have now launched our new app for Ipad that allows our students to access their training materials and assessments online and offline. This unique tool allows that students to learn when and where they want with instant communication of their progress to their trainers and employers.

08.01.2022 The appointment of Janine Temple as Compliance and Operations manager is another significant stride in Orbus3s continual pursuit of Civil Construction training excellence. Janine has over 20 years experience in Senior Management roles such as (i) National BDM for a major professional services association, (ii) General Manager for a leading Australasian wholesaling and consultancy organisation, (iii) General Manager for a leading peak industry (Civil Construction) body and ...(iv) Director, Training & Development and CEO RTO for Australias National Resource Industry employer group. In these roles, Janine provided strategic planning and business advice for improved operations which were directed toward taking the organisation to the next level. Janine also has extensive experience in the Vocational Education & Training (VET) sector and started out as a trainer and assessor in the late 1990s. Janine has worked in and with a number of RTOs on business processes and compliance issues. Her extensive experience includes training and assessing, training needs analysis, auditing, consulting, funding tenders, business analysis and program design, quality and risk management, project management, and business development.

06.01.2022 David Ensing joins Orbus3. Orbus3 are very pleased to welcome David Ensing as a Senior Civil Construction Trainer. Davids breadth of experience, up to the minute knowledge and his straightforward communication skills fit perfectly with Orbus3s commitment to continue to build the best Civil Construction Training Team in Queensland.... David started in the industry over 30 years ago, working on civil projects, construction on new housing estates, drainage projects, sewer and water main installation and upgrades. He also worked in the mining industry around the Gold fields of Kalgoorlie. Plant operator experience includes; Graders, Excavators, Loaders, Backhoes, Skid Steers Loaders, Dozers and Compaction equipment. David has been involved in the training industry for the past 15 years, conducting plant assessments, Training for Civil Construction Apprentices and Trainees,Traffic Control Training, Traffic Management Training. In addition to this David has worked on customised training projects for clients. Davids experience includes conducting advanced, comprehensive, customised training projects on a national basis for major clients. The Orbus3 / Mills Oakley "Breakfast in the Fast Lane" event was a resounding success! Aidan Leonard, CEO of Orbus3 said "The response from the audience was tremendous. Weve received very positive feedback and have been quite busy following up with requests for further information regarding the subjects raised and how they specifically impact on the organisations attending. The event took the format of 3 snappy, informative presentations and covered areas as diverse as new technologies in training, funding updates, verification/determination of competency, very informative aspects of contract law and recent updates to legislation and a very well received insight to the skills involved in corporate leadership.
