24.01.2022 LOCKDOWN CLOSURE By now we are experts at lockdown announcements, so here we go again! As per the Governments and Health departments latest advice, all swimming lessons will be suspended effective 7pm Tonight (Thursday 27th May).... This will mean the following: There will be no swimming lessons from Friday 28th May until further notice. All accounts will be put on hold and you will NOT be charged until we have a date for return. A credit will be placed on your account for the lessons missed due to closure. Those of you who have already pad your June Invoice, a CREDIT has been created for you which will be applied to your next invoice. All classes will remain the same and your child’s spot will be held in our program. Any makeups that have been booked will be removed so they are able to be used when we reopen. At this stage the current advice is that this will only be a 7 day closure however we will provide further communication when we have a more specific date for re-opening. We will continue to keep you updated via Facebook and E-mail as things evolve further during this period. Thank you once again for your kind words of support as we navigate our 4th closure since March 2020. We will be monitoring our Facebook page and emails if you have any further questions or feedback at this time. Due to distance restrictions we will not be able to respond to phone messages so please send written communication in place of calling us. 22.01.2022 TEMPERATURE CHECKING NO LONGER REQUIRED As today rolls around and concludes 28 days of double donuts, we have decided that we no longer need to temp check at this time. This may of course revert back in future, but for now all you need to do is check in and show us your green screen. If you haven't already, please remember to press the yellow band at the top of your green screen to remember you for the next 28 days and check in will be super fast!... Also if you leave your green screen open, you can check out once you leave by clicking on the blue band!

22.01.2022 NEW RELAXED MASK WEARING RULES Masks are no longer required to be worn at ORCA but must be carried by you at all times in case you cannot socially distance from others. We will ask you to put your mask on if it is observed that you are not correctly socially distancing.... Please consciously and deliberately do the right thing so we do not need to make this request of you. If you prefer to continue wearing your mask, please feel free to do so. Social distancing rules continue to apply at 1.5m as they are currently. Max 2 parents allowed - no change to this rule. Only 1 family member watching on deck - no change to this rule. 3 chairs on deck per class, please alternate standing below and sitting so everyone has a turn on deck - no change to this rule. No grandparents or additional spectators allowed - no change to this rule. QR code or manual check in is still required by each adult - no change to this rule. Temperature checking no longer required. These rules may change at any time in order for ORCA to stay in line with government and world health organisation recommendations and/or requirements. If you generally park there for your lesson we ask that you please stop this immediately and return to using just our car park or the street if ours is full. As of tomorrow we are welcoming both parents back into our facility regardless of how many children you have swimming!! Our caps have been lifted further and we are able to accommodate both parents based on our new expanded allowances in terms of dry land numbers!! Woot Woot ONLY 1 PARENT IS PERMITTED UP ON DECK - IF SEATS ARE FULL YOU MAY NOT STAND ON DECK O...R ON THE STAIRS - YOU MUST STAND ON THE DOTS BELOW DECK LEVEL. SEATING IS LIMITED AND WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HAVE 2 PARENTS FROM THE SAME FAMILY UTILISING 2 CHAIRS TO WATCH THEIR CHILD SWIM. IF WE ASK YOU TO MOVE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO MOVE. Please be reminded that social distancing is still required and at this time we are welcoming back just two parents. We will consider grandparents and additional spectators being able to come back in the coming weeks, once we see how having those extra parents back looks in terms of floor space.
