20.01.2022 We are excited to share with you that the planning application for our Orchard Monbulk project is progressing positively with Council. Earlier this year we reached out to the community as part of the community consultation process. As a result of the valuable feedback we received, the design of the building has been adjusted. We are now setting back the top floor of the building further than previously presented, resulting in reduced visual impact from both Main Street, and E...merald-Monbulk Road. The building architecturally now reads as only two storeys. As well, the number of apartments in the building has been reduced. We have also spent time re-designing the basement to provide additional car parking. We would like to thank everyone in the community who engaged in the public consultation process as this helped us ensure we deliver an outcome that aligns with the Community’s views and expectations. The plans will now be re-advertised and give the community an opportunity to further review and comment. We look forward to participating in that process and delivering a project that both Peak Property Group and the community can be proud of.

17.01.2022 It's been a real pleasure dealing with the Monbulk community these past few weeks. The day we spent in Monbulk alongside the feedback we've received is highly encouraging. Despite being in the proposal stage we've already had a few positive conversations about potentially buying into the development. 02.01.2022 Thank you to the public who took time out of their day and filled out our survey last week, providing your input into the Orchard development on 22-28 Main Street, Monbulk. We had an overwhelmingly positive response from the community with 106 survey respondents. The results showed: 40% of people know someone that may leave the community due to a shortage of appropriate housing.... 91% of people believe affordable and low maintenance housing will help retain the younger and older demographic. 78% support low rise development in the main street. 87% support the development and believe it will be a positive move for the area. 90% of people like the overall look and feel of the building design.
