We are looking for a part time Lifestyle Support Professional to assist a young lady with a disability, whom lives independently in her own home. This role has emphasis on assisting her to achieve a happy and fulfilled life immersed in her community, in valued roles, amongst real relationships and meaningful friendships. Key responsibilities include:... Providing the individual with opportunities of personal growth, inclusion and skill development Provide active support to assist the individual to engage in and manage her own life, with occasional guidance from her family. Assisting the person to undertake a range of daily living tasks including personal and self-care, meal prep and general household duties Working hours cover a variety of shifts lengths, generally falling between the hours of 7am and 9pm, weekdays and weekends. This role will start off as casual but will offer regular weekly shifts and you will be a valued member of a great team! Training and support will be provided. Essential Criteria: An understanding of the importance of social inclusion and feeling valued in life The ability to collaborate as part of a diverse team and also work autonomously whilst contributing to assisting the individual to achieve big and small tasks that lead to a successful life.
