Traditionally with all the veggies youve got growing in the garden, plus your favourite pulses & rice or pasta to make it the perfect winter comfort meal. That also makes it the perfect seasonal organic vegan recipe. ... You can literally fill it with whatever organic veggies are available both at the store and in your garden and it always works beautifully. This weeks Minestra has potato, pumpkin, carrot, onion, garlic, green capsicum, zucchini, broad beans (from our family gardens dry store), brown rice and all the Mediterranean herbs growing in the garden. We use nutritional yeast instead of cheese and home made vegan stock and lots of extra virgin olive oil to make it just right. Yuuuuuum! Seems like she may have missed the point that diet is only one facet of veganism! Rosella is a type of hibiscus, with a whole range of health benefits... Famous for its fleshy calyces. In Jamaica they are used to produce a delicious bright red drink called flor de jamaica.
