07.01.2022 Let's hope hives up north have some honey as there will sadly be no silvertop honey this season. Bees have either had to eat their reserves (if indeed they had collected any) to stay alive and/or it was too cold or raining when the silvertop was flowering so they were unable to collect! Was really looking forward to tasting silvertop honey. Spring weather plays havoc with hives.
