Organic is a more natural way of farming - a system that requires livestock to be grown: Free range Grass fed without synthetic chemicals... without hormones or antibiotics free to behave naturally with low stress, high welfare organic feed only no intensive feedlots with high grain diet Note: organic is all of these things for the animals entire life. Livestock that are just free range or grass fed cannot be considered organic. Biodynamic is a special form of organic farming. See more

11.01.2022 Buying organic and biodynamic certified food is your assurance that it is grown without harmful agricultural chemicals. Grass fed is simply an assurance that the animals ate grass, but that grass could have been sprayed with chemicals. Studies have shown the health benefits of grass fed meat, and our organic and biodynamic certified meats are all grass fed and we claim these benefits. However, please realise that non organic animals could potentially have been grazing on grass growing on land that is not free from GM crops (grown on it in the previous year) and was sprayed with a range of insecticides and herbicides. If you want to help your family avoid agricultural chemicals in the meals you are preparing, buy and eat certified organic and biodynamic foods!

One study shows organic milk has 56% more heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids than conventional milk, and the other finds that organic meat has 47% higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids than conventional meat. These findings are important because diets low in omega-3s, especially in combination with high omega-6 diets, are risk factors for cardiovascular disease, cancer, and inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. Crystal Brook farm was established in 1945, 8 km North East of Pinjarra on the foothills of the Darling Scarp. A freshwater stream runs through the valley, hence the name Crystal Brook.
