21.01.2022 Organics Thermal Ammonia Stripping (OTAS) works by converting ammonium ions (NH4) to ammonia gas (NH3). The OTAS uses heat alone and requires no chemical addition. Ammonia gas is then removed from the wastewater by passing air through the wastewater.
