25.01.2022 it sure is dry!.. but my feathered friends are still out having fun

24.01.2022 Did someone say 1.5 metres social distancing? Our girls love foraging and playing together but at 600 hens per hectare on the Organigrow farm, our feathered friends could easily pass the 1.5 metre distancing rule if they needed to. Organigrow eggs are certified both Australian organic and humane choice!

21.01.2022 Connie learning about the farm. It might take her a little while to learn her guard dog role...for now she thinks our feathered friends are her play toys...

21.01.2022 This photo was sent to us from a very excited Organigrow customer who cracked an egg for her bearnaise sauce and got a one in 25 million chance triple yolker! Who else has cracked a triple yolker before?

17.01.2022 Po, the main guard dog for the Organigrow chickens, was so happy to see his best little mate coming back to the farm for a visit. Aaron was just as happy to Po as well

17.01.2022 Our newest little ladies who arrived yesterday. Here they are enjoying their first meal and run around upon arrival.

17.01.2022 The evidence left behind by Organigrow's wonderful natural vermin control. A fabulous python snake skin found in one of the hen runs...watch out rats and mice!

13.01.2022 Certainly a misty morning but it looks like it will be a cracker of a day!

11.01.2022 A lovely way to finish up a perfect Winter's day at the Organigrow farm.

11.01.2022 It's taken a while to come to fruition, as we have built many of the parts ourselves on the farm. The first of the new runs is now definitely taking shape, complete with automated extra shading, fans and water sprinklers depending on the time of day and the temperature. Built for comfort in all seasons, it will be 5-star accommodation for our feathered friends.

09.01.2022 Just a small section of the wonderful view that we and our feathered friends get to enjoy everyday at the Organigrow farm.

08.01.2022 The girls just love dust bathing, foraging and free ranging in the sun.

08.01.2022 We had the pleasure of hosting Emma and Katherine, 2 vet students on placement from Sydney University...they found it interesting and educational and are happy to have learnt so much about organic eggs, chooks and farms.

08.01.2022 The new run's conveyer system for egg collection being demonstrated by Simon, who designed the whole setup himself. Even though the run is still being built, hens are obviously giving it their tick of approval as some are coming over to investigate and then lay their beautiful eggs in the new nest boxes.

06.01.2022 Whilst Organigrow is primarily an organic egg farm, we have plenty of citrus and pecans, and a little under 12 months ago we also created an organic market garden. Here is a 'taste' of just some of the current produce.

05.01.2022 Seems strange to many that chooks seek out dirt to sit and roll in, they know they need it to keep themselves clean, healthy and hygienic.

05.01.2022 Beautiful green pasture everywhere for our girls to forage, feast and play...not to mention the pecans that are cracking open and almost ready to eat...yum!

05.01.2022 Our feathered friends are always curious, so a forage around the natural water pool at the Organigrow farm is always on the cards...

03.01.2022 So cute little bundles of fluffy Joy are experiencing their first taste of organic starter crumble and are very excited to be in the new home

01.01.2022 A dirt pile is just too much of a temptation for the girls... acres of pasture but they still make a beeline for the dirt...their daily dust bath to get clean
