25.01.2022 I’ve shown this bucket so many times and I often get lots of questions about it, so I thought I would finally put it in a post. I use one in the kitchen to prep my fresh produce , a different one in the laundry to soak our clothes and now even Mia has one for all her outdoor toys . . If you know me well by now, you will now how much I appreciate things that make life easier and make the process run more smoothly and the @strucket has been a God send and one of my h...ousehold favourites . It’s honestly saved me so much time from scrubbing everything and having to put my hands in dirty water that’s been basking in who knows what for hours . . If you’ve never heard of the @strucket look into it ! It’s a bucket, that has a built in strainer all in one. The beauty is in the connection which allows the strainer to elevate above the bucket, this means you can drain your fruit and vegetables without needing to put your hands in . It fits perfectly in my sinks and I can even agitate the things I’m soaking. I can also seperate the strainer from the bucket to let things drip dry if needed . Then all I have to do when I’m finished is release the dirty water from the gasket at the side. GENIUS! . All I’ll say is this was a lifesaver when Mia was a baby...all those . Thank God I didn’t have to put my hands in the bucket . . You can also get the @strucket from @howardsstorage. . I also get lots of questions about my weekly produce prep and how I do it all. Before Covid I was a little more relaxed but thanks to Covid I now just soak everything just incase . So here it is. . Method added in comments as it won’t all fit here. . Any questions please free to drop a line. . P.s I filmed this in our old house and forgot to upload it . . Tag a friend who would enjoy this See more

24.01.2022 [TEA STORAGE] to all the tea lovers out there . . Do you have a designated place for all your teas or are they scattered around? . These little containers are from @kmartaus and they’re only $3 .... . You can also opt for a clear top canister if it’s in a drawer. But these are one of my favourites to use because they’re so affordable . . Tag a friend who would enjoy this See more

21.01.2022 [TUPPAWARE SOLUTION] there have been so many times I’ve seen that overflowing tuppaware drawer that is busting at the seems. Add then add some kiddies into the mix and a new lunchbox and drink bottle every year from smiggle or who knows where and you’ll end up with a complete tuppaware disaster. I’ve been having a play with the Spaceflexx Drawer Insert from @hafelehome and it’s awesome for all those containers in your drawer that come in all odd shapes and sizes.... The great thing about it is that the elastic band divider can come off and move up and down to suit bigger containers to. Check it out if you need something to mould to your system that's flexible and versatile.

20.01.2022 [BATHROOM ORGANISATION] organise your bathroom in 4 easy steps. . 1 remove everything from your cupboard and drawers . Check the expiry dates as you go and discard of anything expired or that you no longer use (be ruthless ). You'll be surprised how much is actually expired . . Note: those little symbols with the dish and a number that says 6, 12, 18, 24, refer to when it expires from the time you open it e.g 6 months. ... . 2 as you pull things out, also start by categorising them into like items. E.g face , hair , body, teeth , makeup, nails , tanning , partner , kids , sunscreen , medicine , electrical etc. . 3 then start by sub-categorising them again e.g cleansers, moisturisers, foundation, blush etc. . 4 now the exciting part...organising it all ! . Measure up your space , take into account your plumbing pipes . Then start looking for suitable containers. Be mindful of the size of the product. Think little things in little containers and taller things in containers with more height so things don't get lost and move around. Otherwise if things keep moving it will become frustrating to up-keep as you have to keep standing it back up. Remember organising is meant to simplify your life not complicate it . . Remember my golden rules Can you see it easily, can you access it easily and can you put it back easily! . TOP TIP Your beauty collection can grow very quickly. So something I tell my clients all the time is that if you've bought something and you don't end up liking it. People naturally end up buying a replacement as they prefer not to use something they don't like. If you can use it up before buying another good on you! However if you can't and you end up buying something new, people often feel bad throwing out the old one. However the reality is if you keep holding onto things you don't use your space will eventually become over cluttered and then you won't even be able to find the stuff you like or want to use as you can't see it easily. . Do you use up something if you don't like it or do you de-clutter it? . Tag a friend who would enjoy this . See more

20.01.2022 [MY GOLDEN RULES FOR ORGANISING] this is my mantra and what I tell my clients all the time . . When it comes to organising there’s certainly no solution fits all. We each have different homes , setups , styles and budgets . . BUT... . If you keep this in mind when organising you’re one step closer to having a successful system already ! . 1. Can you see it easily ? 2. Can you access it easily ? 3. Can you put it back easily ? . The easier it is , the easier it will be for you to maintain in future particularly if it’s something you use often. . Organising is about making your life easier particularly when your time poor . . And think ... . If you see what you have it means you can find it quicker, keep track of your things, declutter what you no longer use and enjoy what you actually use . . What do you often look for and cant find because you can’t see it? . Tag a friend who would enjoy this . See more

19.01.2022 [KITCHEN BEFORE & AFTER] swipe left $10 later and all your boards and serving ware can be vertically stored and accessed within seconds. Forget about piling all your boards on top of each other only to create a mountain for yourself. ... This pot lid organiser is just from @ikea_australia and holds it all into place perfectly. @theocdbychristine_

19.01.2022 [TOY ORGANISATION] do you need extra storage space for your kids toys? . Sometimes the bottom half of their wardrobes can be used as extra storage as that can often be under-utilised in some homes. . You can set up a cubed shelving system down low or use stackable drawers to make the most of the space. And most importantly still be able to access it easily.... . TOP TIPS Choose sturdy and good quality drawers that won’t fall apart. Categorise like items with each other e.g LEGO, baby dolls etc. If you have have a play area to, dedicate particular category toys to be stored here so you don’t loose track of how much you have. E.g LEGO in bedroom only. Make sure their the right size for your child, so their kid friendly and they can pull out the drawer themselves. E.g bigger tubs for big kids and smaller tubs for little ones. Label each tub or use pictured labels. . These plastic drawers are the @sterilitecorporation from @howardsstorage. . How do you store your kids toys? I use a combination of drawers and baskets to store Mia's toys. . Tag a friend who would enjoy this See more

19.01.2022 [MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE] remember my golden rules ... . The easier your system is, the easier it will be for you to maintain it in future . . The point of organising is meant to be effortless, not overwhelming once you have an accomplished system in place .

17.01.2022 [WARDROBE ORGANISATION] do you have deep shelves in your wardrobe ? . Using storage cases can help keep your clothes more organised. . Why? ... . utilises the shelf depth so you don’t have to fetch to far to the back when stored vertically you can see your clothes easier and it won’t topple when you go to get something from the bottom you can categorise like items with each other e.g pjs, shorts, tshirts etc and find your stuff quicker you can clearly label each storage case TOP TIP make sure the baskets you use aren’t to high, so that you can vertically store your items and visibly see them. Often when the storage cases are to high they don’t sit up well and may end up falling easier. . For me personally I love to hang my clothes as I can see everything at a quick glance but if you don’t have the space to hang your stuff your next best bet is to fold your items vertically using storage cases. . Do you hang or fold your clothes? . These storage cases are from @ikea_australia and they come in a range of sizes . This one is 50cm deep . . Tag a friend who would enjoy this See more

16.01.2022 [GIVEAWAY] BABY MONITORS I’m going to let you guys in on a little home organising secret of mine . Some days when I really need to get stuff done and miss Mia is having a cooperating day, this is how I do it! I’ve setup multiple cameras around the house so that if I need to quickly hang something for 5 minutes and I don’t want to drag her along, I can see what she’s doing, if I need to put dinner on quickly, I can see what she’s doing and maybe even atte...mpt to finish organising something, I can see what she’s doing. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing her play happily and having 5 minutes of peace to get something done . I used to be so anxious leaving her for just a minute as I would think what is she doing but now I can literally see what she’s getting up-to. Disclaimer: I’m never to far away, never leave her for to long and we’ve set up a fairly baby proof home. Just so no one reports me . So, I’m so excited to be teaming up with @unidenaustralia to give away 3 baby monitors. I’ve had mine since Mia was born and I absolutely love them . You can connect up to 4 cameras, speak to them, play lullabies, check room temperature, use the night light and so much more. I also love how it has a motion sensor camera that pans and tilts her every move. She has no idea that big brother is watching haha . 1 lucky winner will receive the BW 3451R valued at $349.95 and their two friends tagged will each receive the new BW 140R valued at $150 each. $650 valued in prizes . 15.01.2022 [PANTRY BEFORE & AFTER] Swipe across . Let’s talk vertical storage in your pantry ! . You might have the right size tubs , categorise like items with each other but do you take the extra step to store some of your items vertically as soon as you've come home from the shops?... . It sounds crazy but something as simple as making sure you load each tub the right way makes a big difference . . Why? it utilises you’re space better helps you keep track of what you have manage your expiry dates better by using the older one first . The more you see your stuff the more you will use it, which means less wastage and less duplicates . . Think . When you go to the shops and you see how nicely everything is displayed ? It makes you want to buy it as you can see the packaging so clearly . Same concept if you see your stuff you'll be more inclined to use it . . How do you store your shopping? Vertically? Or all chucked in the tub ? #nojudgment . Tag a friend who would enjoy this See more

14.01.2022 [WARDROBE BEFORE & AFTER] if your in the middle of organising your home and your feeling a little overwhelmed on where to start . Start small or in an area where you will see progress fast as that may keep you motivated to keep on going . Personally my top tip, is to leave your wardrobe as one of your last projects if possible. WHY? ... Because it requires you to make lots of decisions about what to keep and what to get rid of and people often feel overwhelmed by the big pile staring at them and stall on moving forward . Very normal! For some these can be big decisions as you might have attachments to your clothes and the memories they’ve brought once brought you . It’s not all doom and gloom, I promise . It’s certainly achievable to organise . 1 Start by taking every single item out and categorise by like items e.g dresses, skirts, tops etc. 2 Once you’ve categorised everything this will also help you see how much you have in one category. 3 Channel our lovely friend @mariekondo and ask yourself does it spark you joy, have you worn it recently, does it suit your current lifestyle, would you buy it again if you saw it in store, can you create more then one outfit out of it? NEXT Purge or Keep . Have you guys organised or want to organise your wardrobe during isolation? How did it go or how are you feeling? Tag a friend who would enjoy this .
