10.01.2022 SWOT has been busy in the last few months with the completion of the second Orienteering it’s My Game (OMG) Series on the newly mapped Bunbury Catholic College, Bunbury High School and the old Australind Senior High School. Robyn Phillips has Project Managed the Series, with all learning activities and courses developed and run by Jill Elderfield with assistance from the Elderfield, Mason and O’Loughlin families. It was great to see 30 kids registered for the events with a number bringing their families to SWOT events, which is very positive to see. The series uncovered a number of talented up and coming juniors orienteers. Electronic timing was used in the second series, with James O’Loughlin doing a great job making it work each week, following assistance and instruction over the school holidays from Ian Dalton, thanks Ian.

10.01.2022 SWOT has been awarded a Commonwealth grant to increase participation in orienteering in the South West. This will be Orienteering - My Game (O - MG) for children aged 10-15 years.
