13.01.2022 Attention All Junior Orienteers! We have the green light to use St Helens High School as our base for the summer training camp - now we just need you. To secure your place we require a $25 deposit through Eventor now and the balance in the week prior to the camp. Information regarding how to pay the balance will be provided in the first week of the New Year. The hire of the school has doubled in price (thanks Covid) but the transport option has halved to a minivan and the u...se of private vehicles so they offset each other and it is anticipated that the final cost will be less than $100. You must also be a member of an orienteering club - Australopers, EVOC or Pathfinders. We are unable to accept casual members at this camp. Details on how to become a member are available on the OT website. There is an information bulletin and a medical consent/risk waiver form on Eventor. Final payment and all forms will be due back to by the 13th of January. A 12 seater minivan will be departing and returning to Launceston. If required, departure time on Wednesday 20th will align to match the Redline coming from Hobart. If you think you may require this option you must let me know. If it is not necessary to meet the Redline then we may start the camp earlier. Likewise, on Friday 22nd, we will arrange to drop participants in Campbell Town to meet the Southbound Redline if required. We will require camp helpers, coaches, people to shadow, set and collect controls. If you think you can assist with any of these roles please let Jon McComb know via email [email protected] and register through Eventor (free). Any queries - [email protected] Sussan
