24.01.2022 Hey hey, we hope everyone has been staying safe, healthy and happy. If you hadn't noticed, spring is just around the corner! Just a reminder that our next market will be held on September 6th, and not this coming Sunday. As this month has 5 Sundays, you'll have to sit patiently for another week We look forward to seeing you then!

23.01.2022 How good are these warmer months here at Christies Beach! Over 80 wonderful stalls here today selling everything from local crafts, fresh produce, honey, plants, second-hand goods, dog treats and much more. If you're feeling hungry, we've got you covered. Fundraising on the BBQ today are Rockabellas Roller Derby League Inc, and as always Java Drive has the coffee flowing and there's other hot food options available.... Our next market will be on 15th November. We hope to see you soon!!

21.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Lyn Mayne OAM on Saturday, 5th September. Lyn was one of the founding committee members that established our market in 1982, and after her retirement in 2012 she continued to represent us as a Patron. Over the last 38 years her unrelenting dedication and love for our market is the reason we continue to serve our wonderful community today. She was the beating heart of our market and was so dearly loved by... all that were lucky enough to meet her. Our hearts are broken but we will forever cherish the memories we have of her. Rest in peace, Lyn

16.01.2022 Just a quick update on our situation, we would like all of our followers to be patient at this critical time, the Government has daily updates on crowd movements, and we may not know very much until we get closer to the next market date, that being the 5th of Aril. We will keep you informed. However, we ask you to, "Wash, wipe, cover - don't infect another".

(We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for clearing skies!) Whilst we remain on the road to recovery during this pandemic, we will continue to put the safety of our community at the forefront. And thinking that in mind, this Sunday is looking rather good for us, partly cloudy with a slight shower more likely in the afternoon, just what we like to hear. A note to our stallholders, due to the Covid19 safey rules, we must have you all PRE-BOOKED in, along with your contact phone number, this is a mandatory rule for our committee to operate the market. So please pass the message along to other people you know that want to sell at our market. Don't forget to, WASH, WIPE, COVER - don't infect another.

03.01.2022 Good morning all, we've had a few questions asking if our future markets are going ahead as planned. At this point in time, we do not have any plans to cancel any of our scheduled markets. As a smaller scale market, we do not have over 500 people at our event at any one time. We will, however, continue to assess the risk of future markets if the status of Covid-19 within our community changes. Any cancellations will be notified on this Facebook page and on our website. In the meantime, please remember: good hand hygiene and sneeze/cough hygiene is the best defence against most viruses! See you all tomorrow!
