21.01.2022 Get Ready We Are Returning to Football Soon. Today both the state government and AFLQ announced that stage 2 restrictions will lift now earlier, on Monday 1st June at noon. This means we will soon be able to return to modified training at the club. The clubs in SEQ will be attending a Presidents meeting with AFLQ on Monday the 1st June to work through the details. At the moment AFLQ have advised training can occur with single groups of 20 on one field at a time, therefore w...e will need to modify our normally training schedule. The committee is finalising a training schedule that will meet the guidelines that will enable our Juniors, Seniors and Masters to recommence training, and we will be communicating the plans and protocols shortly. The plan is for games to start once we come into Stage 3 approximately scheduled from 17th July. Also our Auskick and Superstars programs will recommence once we reach stage 3. Attached is the link for the AFL guide for Return to Training Protocols for Stage 2. https://www.aflq.com.au//AFLQ-STAGE-2-RETURN-TO-TRAINING-P

13.01.2022 I've been a bit slack on giving updates after the first 2 games. For the 35's - we started the season with a loss by a few goals to a very deep and skilled Morningside team on their home ground. Our second game we returned back to Ormeau and had a confident win over Redcliffe in the wet weather. Yesterday we traveled up to play the Souths Sharks Masters AFC in our third game of the season. The first quarter was an even battle on the scoreboard before the Sharks got off to ...a quick start in the second with a couple of quick goals to be up at the half. After the break, the Bulldogs came to form and we pushed into the lead and managed to hold onto it until the final siren narrowly winning by 2 points. Final score 4-7-31 Bulldogs 4-5-29 Sharks We'd like to thank the Sharks for being great hosts and providing a very tough hard fought game of footy. Lets all make sure we get to training and enjoy the freedom of being able to have a kick while hanging around a great bunch of guys. Given the craziness of 2020 lets all make the most of it.

12.01.2022 Second entry for the day in the trickshot competiton. Keep them going everyone!

12.01.2022 G’day All, We are getting closer to the football season finally able to kick off. All going to plan training will start back up on the 12th June.... Yes there is going to be changes and restrictions which will need to be adhere to and followed at all times (With a No BS attitude). Remember it’s not the club or coaches setting the rules, but in order to get back out on the field and playing we need to follow these guidelines. Before we start back training there is a couple of things we need to do and confirm first: Are you playing this year We need to confirm numbers to ensure we have enough for two teams. Please read the below and Text Me on 0466014227 (Please DO NOT respond on here) If you’re playing this year and will be at training, can you please send me a text message with Playing & Training and your full name to confirm (And yes I have lost everyone’s number). If you’re playing and are unable to train can you please text Playing & Not Training and your full name to confirm. If you are not playing but you still want to train We need to confirm numbers for training as well We welcome everybody to the club regardless if you’re not playing and just want to keep fit, however we need to confirm training numbers so can you please send me a text message with Training Only and your full name to confirm. All players who want to play or even just train must be signed up on sporting pulse otherwise you will not be allowed on the training field. KEY Points: If you know of anybody that is not on the Masters Facebook page or on messenger, please forward this message on to them, to ensure we spread the word. Fee’s will be reduced and confirmed once games are locked in. We are only aloud to have a maximum of 20 people on the ground training per night, which is why we need to confirm numbers This does not mean you can swap in and out. Pending on how many people we get who want to train, we may have to spread it out over various nights and it may be managed similar to a game day (TBA) You will be required to sign in a book prior to starting training and sign out when training has finished. You will be required to wash your hands prior to the start of training. All footballs will be sterilized prior to training. There will be no physical contact. Do not turn up to training if you have not let myself or Scott no as you may not be able to train pending on numbers. There will be no access to clubrooms. Social distancing of 1.5M will apply at all times With all that said, remember everybody has there own opinion, so lets not judge one and other but raise the Doggy Spirit and do what we do best, get round and support each other. I for one cant wait to get back out on the track!!! Andrew Guard Mobile: 0466 014 227

10.01.2022 No training tonight. The council has closed our oval due to the rain. Rest up, and be ready to go next week.

10.01.2022 Righto lads. The boys from Souths Sharks have thrown down the challenge for us with some trick shots. Get onto it and we will post your videos. I'd like to nominate the great blokes from Fassifern Falcons AFL Masters Team to join in.

06.01.2022 Just a reminder that the council has our ovals closed for the next couple of months. If you are still keen on a kick a bunch of us will head to our usual summer spot. Message us for further details if you need them.
