07.01.2022 Ormeau Girl Guides have been staying at home during the COVID-19 pandemic but have continued to provide guiding for the Girls. We have been providing mail delivery packs and virtual Girl Guide meetings for the girls; Juniors have been working towards their ANZAC Badge, Easter Crafts, cards for friends and elderly in isolations using mail delivered packs. Senior girls, have been working towards their ANZC Badge, Life Skills and computer badge, some have been working to wards ...their Junior BP awards as well. Seniors Guides have been meeting virtual using zoom. They have been covering web safety, cyber bullying, online games as well as lots of discussion on different topics. Girls are challenged to run an activity each week for everyone to do during their meeting times, so far they have tried Origami and volcanoes. Many activities to come over the next few weeks. Please follow us to see more challenges, adventures and crafts from the girls.

03.01.2022 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! If you or anyone you know would like to into a volunteer role for Ormeau Girl Guides, please get in touch. Training will be provided... Roles available include: Leaders Assistant Leaders Unit Helper We meet weekly during school terms on a: Tuesday 6.00pm to 8.00pm for girls 10 to 15 years Wednesday 5.45pm to 7.15pm for girls 6 to 9 years Guiding is loads of fun for girls and adults alike! You’ll learn new skills, mentor young women, challenge yourself and do things you never thought possible, all whilst having FUN! The girls are great, and we have an AWESOME team of Leaders at Ormeau Girl Guides!! You don’t have to have had any Guiding experience to join in. Happy to answer any questions
