25.01.2022 Hi all Official training starts Thursday November 5th at 6pm and every Tuesday and Thursday following that. Make sure you get down.The Games begin December 3rd so lets get cracking. We will also Train Sunday November 8th at 1130am following the Junior Come and Try day. If your keen to help with this day let me know.

23.01.2022 Here we go again! Both Seniors and Reserves in the Grand Final. Reserves are playing at StKilda at 12pm and the big one the Seniors are playing at EE Gunn Reserve at 2pm. Cant wait to see the boys go Back to Back !!! To all our loyal supporters get down to see a cracker against Pakenham

22.01.2022 Hi all Hunter supporters. Two massive finals this Sunday at home. Ormond vs Ormond in the 2s starts at 12pm. Followed by the 1s against our old rivals Chelsea at 330pm. Please get down to the games to support the boys and enjoy a cold drink and a hotdog!

22.01.2022 Just want to say fantastic effort today boys turning up to clean the clubrooms. Gave me as president a sense of pride seeing so many volunteers. Also guess what? We are going to Div 2 its been a long road to get back led by our coach Geoff MacDonald and committee. In these uncertain times we have something to look forward to next summer. 20.01.2022 Pre Season for 20/21 Baseball season is approaching and we look forward to seeing everyone out for a strong Preseason! We will have a 5-week preseason schedule ...starting Sunday, August 23rd with the expectation that restrictions are reduced to stage 2. Potential number limitations may result in scheduled group training sessions throughout the day. We will be in touch in the coming weeks to organize these groups! Go Hunters! See more

20.01.2022 Hey guys feeling crap that we cant celebrate and sign off the season this weekend. So I propose that we have a couple of beers at the club today. We are going to clean up from 12-2 and have a good number of volunteers which Im grateful for. If you want to come down for a beer anyway your more than welcome to celebrate what was a remarkable end to the season.

18.01.2022 Today the club lost a true champion of the Ormond/Glenhuntly Baseball club. Survived by his fine sons and baseballers Archie and Emmanuel Lygris. George Lygris never played the game but was one of the finer critics of all our performances that we all loved. Earlier memories of him sweating over a lamb spit for the club at functions and on the other end scoring at 830am in the middle of winter when we played juniors in the freezing cold refusing to use the coloured pencils. He will be in Heaven this weekend watching over us boys so let’s do for Georgie and Sykesy !!!

16.01.2022 On behalf of the club we would like to pass on our condolences to the Sykes family for the passing of Club Legend John Sykes. Here he is accepting his award at the 90 year celebration. John was still at our games last season and enjoyed being around the club. Always mentioning to me how much the facilities have improved since his playing days. I’ve been told his sledging was legendary back in the day, something his son Rod picked up as well. RIP John he will want a win round one boys!

15.01.2022 Fantastic day the club yesterday. Such a great turnout from the past players to pay their respects to club legend John Sykes. Also on field we didn’t do too bad. Reserves had a win ad thanks to a couple of home runs from Geoff Macdonald, we nearly had our first win in Div 2 going down 6-7 to Port Melbourne

09.01.2022 Hi Guys we have unfortunately have had to postpone our Presentation night this Sunday. A real bummer as we were going to celebrate two fantastic premierships. I say postpone because as soon as the restrictions with corona is lifted we will have a celebration. We are living in an unprecedented time at the moment and as a club we need to do the responsible thing.

04.01.2022 Hi to all our past players and supporters Our firsts are coming home with a wet sail ! Knocking off Doncaster and Port Melbourne in the last two games has given us a sniff of playing Division 2 finals or at least a mathematical chance.... The guys are playing really well as a unit everyone contributing and building on some real pitching depth. Sykesy and Geoff have the team Flying and its so exciting to say we will be playing and alive for finals in our last game. What an effort so far coming up from Division 3. So these are the next three games all local so please come down and support the boys Thursday 4th March 630pm at home against St Kilda Sunday 7th March 330pm at home against Williamstown Saturday 13th March 2pm away against Moorabbin Win two of these games we should make finals, Win all 3 we will make it. I look forward to seeing you all at the games

02.01.2022 Thanks to all who turned out last night. It was a busy night getting through all the speeches, all had some fantastic stories. One recognition I failed to mention was the enormous contribution the women of our club have made. Not only as wives and girlfriends helping around the club and supporting the men, but also our rich history of Womens Baseball. It will be a great day for the club when we get a womens team back on the field. Thanks again
