We recently presented their CEO, Amanda Murphy, with a cheque for $45,000 for their Youth Mental Health Champions program. The initiative helps young people identify the signs of mental illness and provides information on the local support available to them. 03.01.2022 Bendigo Bank's Bayside Community Bank branches support Connect Health & Community's Youth Mental Health Champions initiative. The project is training 20 young people in the Bayside and Glen Eira communities in teen Mental Health First Aid. These young 'champions' will then design and lead a mental health initiative at their own school. We're proud to be building the capacity of our young people to support and look after each other.
