25.01.2022 Dear Members, due to works at our club, for the next few weeks we have decided to move our Wednesday Night Mixed Social Tennis, to Glenhuntly Tennis Club, off Neerim Road, Glenhuntly. 20.01.2022 Hi Everyone, finally we are back for our Night Tennis on Wednesday Night at Ormond Tennis Club. Thank you to all members who turned up at Glenhuntly Tennis Club and kept our night tennis going, it is very much appreciated and means a lot to me as Night Convenor. We have new members who have joined up. So come down and make them feel welcome and enjoy a great night of Social Tennis. 19.01.2022 Hi Members and Friends, what a great night temperature wise to come down to Glenhuntly Tennis Club tonight and join us for an enjoyable time at our weekly Social Night Tennis. It's only $5.00 for members and sets rotate quickly so you are not off the court for long. We also provide a light supper. So if you wish to catch up with your friends from Ormond Tennis Club and practice your tennis for Saturday competition, or otherwise, please feel welcome to join us us on a Wednesday Night. 16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, we had a great night at Glenhuntly Tennis Club last night, for our Wednesday Night Tennis with a great turn up. Four courts were in full use, and there were plenty of sets played of a great standard. With four courts under lights no one was off the court for long. It's great that Glenhuntly has accommodated us so we can keep our Wednesday Night Tennis running. Thank you all for your continued support whilst we are away. Karen Night Convenor

08.01.2022 Thank you to all of you who attended our 2020 Christmas Party. It was a great success, the two piece band was great and the food was terrific. 02.01.2022 Ormond Tennis Club is deeply saddened on the passing of our esteemed member Bill Pollock who passed away suddenly at home on Sunday 15th November aged 72 years. Bill served as Club President and recently as Treasurer. He was made Life Membership in 2017 after 26 years of service. Dearly loved husband of Leanne and much loved father of Thomas, Amy and their partners Jill and Sharkey. Adored by his granddaughter Lucinda. Bill will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

01.01.2022 Victorian Tennis Update Yesterday the Victorian Government announced that from 6pm on Sunday 2 August, Victoria entered a State of Disaster. Based on the announcement by the State Premier, Dan Andrews and further advice from Sport and Recreation Victoria:... All tennis clubs and facilities must close in Metropolitan Melbourne until further notice. All tennis activity in Regional Victoria (including Mitchell Shire) will move to Stage 3 restrictions from Thursday 6 August. You can view the Community Tennis Guidelines for Stage 3 restrictions here. We know this is a difficult time for everyone. It is important that we respect the new restrictions for our own health and the health and safety of the wider community. We are here to support you as much as we can. Please contact your usual Tennis Victoria representative and we will be happy to help.
