23.01.2022 Oropesa Port Management (OPM) this month celebrates 20 years of continuous Port Services support to Dampier Salt (Limited). With this longstanding history of successful and safe operations for Dampier Salts (Rio Tinto) Lake MacLeod export terminal at Cape Cuvier, Western Australia, Oropesa has proven its record of delivering advantage in the face of difficult geographical and environmental conditions. A veteran owned and operated integrated Port Management provider, OPM is ...able to service the broad spectrum of Port functions within an innovative and dynamic approach to safety and efficiencies. Over the same period other services have been delivered in similar fashion to the commercial sector, State and Federal departments and Department of Defence (Navy). Oropesa CEO & Managing Director, Mr. Michael Edwards OAM, said Todays announcement recognises the Companys reliability and profound impact within the Port Management sector. In particular, OPM is proud of the tremendous work achieved over the last 20 years in our ongoing support of Rio Tinto and Dampier Salt. The Lake MacLeod operational environment is a challenging operation, but we have proven time and time again that this is exactly where our company excels. Being able to meet challenges with tenacity, innovation, and energy, to deliver results where it counts having delivered improvements to systems in one case resulting in a 150% increase in berth availability. Oropesa provides a paradigm shift from standing service delivery within the Port Management space, and being able to reach this milestone and continue to deliver this for Dampier Salt is a proud moment for our Company.

19.01.2022 Our nearest neighbour, Indonesia, continues to grow and evolve. Oropesa has now been working in and with our partners in this amazing county for over two and a half years. From little things big things grow. ... The Australia Indonesia Business Council (AIBC) have been a great supporter and advocate for closer ties between our two nations. The last week had Oropesa involved in two conferences. The Indonesian Business Summit and the AIBC Annual Conference. Both great occasions with prominent speakers from both countries, across Politics, Government and Business.

An outstanding turnout showing the support and commitment across Industry and Government for the future of Defence Industry in Western Australia. As Oropesa continues to seek advantage for the Defence Sector and arms of the Department of Defence, it is heartening to see commitment by all sides of the Political spectrum for WA businesses providing a greater role in the provision of support to the Department of Defence. As a company that will always be ship-side-grey on the inside Oropesa seeks to meet the needs of the Service with insight, innovation and commitment to quality outcomes.
