20.01.2022 We now have a fire trailer:) We've filled it with water, petrol in the pump and ready to be deployed to put out any spot fires This fire unit was sponsored through #ARC by #earthgreetings... Who chose for it to come to our farm and hub. This unit will also be deployed to any of the local wildlife rescuers we support that are under threat of a bush fire See more

18.01.2022 A lot spliiter is such a valuable piece of equipment I was hesitant of hubby wanting to buy it about about 18 months ago, wasn't overly expensive We still need to replace our front decking, still hadn't fitted out our ensure from the house extension 3 years ago etc etc... But I'm so glad he bought it, it has saved him weeks of back breaking log splliting with an axe! This 1 log on the splitter got cut into 4 logs for our combustion heater
18.01.2022 RAFFLE BEING DRAW TOMORROW 13TH DEC ** due to a wet weekend here we will need to postpone the raffle draw until next Sunday 13th Dec** ***Raffle time***... Something a bit different this time We are doing a sheep poo lottery! 6th December, weather permitting and if all 100 tickets sold We have 100 tickets available $20 per ticket **Only 1 prize ** 25% of total money raised Ie 100 tickets sold at $20 each prize will be $500 If 50 tickets sold it will be $250 All 100 tickets need to be sold before lottery draw. A grid will be painted in the paddock and numbered from 1 - 100 1 sheep will be put onto the grid to graze, and the lucky number that she does a poo on will win the prize The event will be video and we will also aim to live stream it as well We will have a couple of judges there in case the poo lands on a line and they will determine which square has the most amount of poo in to be the winner Once you have paid for your ticket you will be allocated a ticket from the raffle book and a photo provided to you, payment is due at the time of commenting on how many tickets you would like Payment can be made via paypal (friends &family) or via direct deposit or in cash if you are local We will transfer the money to the winner via direct bank transfer Grab a ticket to be in the chance of winning some cash just before Christmas , Help spread the word and let's get these tickets sold Money raised will go towards building another lamb shed, to keep the lmabs safe and warm at night Goodluck everyone Fundraiser held under registered charity MKC/ARC with their permission
14.01.2022 Big day at the Adelaide hub yesterday getting supplies sorted and loaded onto 2 pallets for our Perth depot and 2 pallets for our Hobart depot A huge thank yo...u to some volunteers Julie, Sheryl and Lealey that came and helped box and load much needed items Also a thank you to my husband for being the muscle and pallet loaded, and my mother in law for watching our 2 small kids while we spent the whole day at the hub working How do we get pallets of supplies from 1 hub to another hub when they are so far away from each other? Big trucks! A huge thank you to whiteline transport for donating 2 pallet spaces to Perth and again to Tasfreight for taking another 2 pallets to Hobart for us Most of the time to get pallets to Perth or Hobart the freight costs are higher than the dollar value of the donated items Transport companies donating pallet spaces to us allow us to share donated and much needed items with all our hubs. 13.01.2022 Glencoe Rural SA hub here Except im in Adelaide this weekend getting food out to local dog and cat rescuers Thursday night my family made the 5.5 hour trip to... Adelaide with the trailer loaded of much needed food and supplies, kitty litter, tin food, cat toys, dog treatments Yesterday we had 6 local CAR come to the Adeliade hub and collected some much needed for thanks to #Petbarnfoundation and #ARC #petbarnfoundation #ThankyouARC
