23.01.2022 SouthWestWellnesFestival

22.01.2022 The aliveness that the outdoors brings to ones sense of well being when a person ventures outside is immeasurable. Sun is the most important component of wellbeing, but humans today spend so much time inside in artificial light and wonder why their health is declining.

20.01.2022 Physical and emotional patterns can be limiting. Once the body recognises them, change can arise. In an Ortho-Bionomy session we gently exaggerate the pattern, so the nervous system can notice, access self-corrective resources, and held patterns can then be released.

19.01.2022 the flow in our body determines the state of our mind.....the flow in our body determines the state of our mind.....

17.01.2022 "Each time you set a healthy boundary, you set a step towards freedom" Our mental state affects our body greatly and vice versa, keeping a clear and focused mind , will help us to feel good and move more easily

12.01.2022 DEADBUG : @courtneypruce - - - Here is a dead bug performed correctly using a Stick Mobility as an external cue. This exercise is frequently performed... incorrectly with loss of tension through the lower back (we don’t want space between the floor and the lower back as it detracts tension from the working muscles!). Using the stick as an external cue helps alleviate this as it adds greater tension & irritation which requires greater control and awareness, therefore increasing the quality of the movement. Here I am using the stick on the same side as oppose to the opposite leg as it is the foundation for a more advance variation which you can check out on TomBlissFit latest post! #deadbug #stickmobility #movementmadebetter #corestrength #strengthmatters See more

02.01.2022 EVERYBODY should watch this , to understand WHY you HAVE to STRECH!!

02.01.2022 Biomechanically the pelvis and shoulder are linked. This is what is referred to as a Myofascial sling. The hamstrings starting from the tibia then insert into t...he Ischial tuberosity. This then continues along as the Sacro-tuberous ligament and then through the thoraco-Lumbar fascia. This then continues to the Latissimus dorsi which then inserts into the opposite scapula and humerus. Therefore your Hamstrings actually attach to your arms!!! So....if there is tension through this sling caused from a rotated pelvis, then the infraspinatus (a muscle on the scapula) can go into spasm and so prevents the biomechanical function of the shoulder. This is a common cause of shoulder injuries. In order to reduce risk of shoulder injuries the pelvis must be in good biomechanical shape. Therefore if you have shoulder pain, then you will need to have your pelvis assessed. I'm really not going crazy if I assess your pelvis before looking at your shoulder! 01.01.2022 Everyone should do this stretch at the end of each day , especially when you spent a lot of time in front of a computer
