02.01.2022 Sunday of the Samaritan Woman - Sermon (30 May 2021) Peter Kyriazopoulos delivered a moving homily on the Gospel of John 4:5-42 which recounts the Samaritan wom...an's encounter with Christ. Peter spoke about how Christ, as God, is able to see into every recess of our soul and to quench our spiritual thirst with His "living water", namely the life-giving Holy Spirit and eternal life. Peter spoke about the necessity of our own personal encounter with Christ in order to be transformed and for our salvation. The Samaritan woman, who later became St. Photini, along with her four sisters and son, endured many torments before the emperor Nero, confessing Christ. May she intercede before Christ for us and always remind us of our constant need for Christ and His "living water". See more
