02.01.2022 And 2019 Pan Pacific come to an end. Thiago and Rafael managed to archived their 7th championship in the roll with 2 gold medals As a father and instructor I’m proud for the champions they became on the mats. More proud for the role model they’ve shown during all this years with perseverance, consistency, discipline and an incredible amount of dedication to remain on top for so long. As an instructor I’ve always remind them to keep humble. The competitor aren’t the enemy... just another kid trying to conquer the same goal. This year also is one especial year. We are saying goodbye to Thiago, one of the most dominating junior Australia ever had. He was Australian ranking number one for 6 years consecutive, with 109 comps in Australia and 109 gold medals always followed by his young brother. Rafael will continue the junior league and our humble legacy, we hope they’ll continue the successful path they had up to now. See more
