22.01.2022 You may have seen these salt and pepper grinders come to your table here at Orzo & our sister restaurant Social Eating House + Bar. We would like to take this time to acknowledge where they come from. Beverley Evans is the lady behind these beautiful pieces of art. First by purchasing a top quality grinder. She then takes her time to find out exactly the colour tones and art of where they will be displayed based on what your looking for. All images are hand cut to perfection ...and a careful thought process of where they will be placed comes from a mind of a genius. A process called découpage is carried though. It takes about 3 months to make a grinder to this detail. To our patron, friend and mother, thank you so much for all you support since day one from our first restaurant Rock Salt. Thank you for your gift of art that we happily use and display at our restaurants. Your love, attitude, energy and talent is inspirational. You always have, and always will be a part of our family. 10.01.2022 -Fattoria San Lorenzo is a third-generation family winery that is completely organic & biodynamic run by Natalino Crognaletti, his mother and family. His vineyards are only treated with copper and sulphur, never any chemical pesticides and all farming is done by hand. His vineyards are like a nature reserve where peas are planted to lean nitrogen to the soils and creating a hospitable environment to the many animals that live on the estate. Both wines pair beautifully with many of our pasta dishes. Have you tried them yet?
