22.01.2022 We had a special visitor this morning, Molly (flappers) the Macaw ! The children are loving all these visits from our furry friends, it puts us all in a good mood and we talk about them long after they’ve left. Today the children learnt some macaw facts, like they can live up to 80 years old! The children were in awe of how vibrant her colours were that we had to google after she left what other colours macaws can come in! 20.01.2022 We are enjoying our afternoon outside in the sunshine The children have selected games as a group to play together, they enjoy the company of each other & we have two new friends joining us today, this was a great way to make them feel welcomed and apart of the group, everyone is introducing themselves and getting to know them

17.01.2022 HI EVERYONE a recap of our week here at OSHC! we’ve had a great week here at OSHC. We had more puppies come and visit us, Bailey & Murphy, as you can see the kids absolutley love when we have pets come in and visit, it brings so much happiness to us all! We welcomed a new friend, River who has settled in great and all the OSHC children have been so welcoming and inclusive which we love to see ! The children have enjoyed doing some painting some animals, we have been creating card towers! The children have been practicing and working hard and staying persistent all week trying to learn how to do so

13.01.2022 This afternoon at OSHC we did some cooking We made some vegemite and cheese scrolls & some garlic bread scrolls. We mixed 1 cup of low fat Greek yogurt to one cup of self raising flour to make the dough. The children enjoyed helping, measuring, working in a team and eating the food. The children have very honest opinions and rated the vegemite cheese ones 9/10 and the garlic bread ones 9.5/10.... Sounds like a hit to me! We will make these again in the future and try different flavours such as pizza scrolls, apple & cinnamon & someone suggested we try jam ones. See more

13.01.2022 SHOW US YOUR PETS OR TEDDIES! Something a bit different today for you all share a picture of your pets or favourite teddies and give us a little about me! I’ll start, these are my dogs Betty & Reggie ! Betty is the black and white one & she is almost 3, she’s a Jack Russell x chihuahua.... Reggie is a brown and white jack russel cross he has just turned 1 and he is WILD he keeps us very entertained! The children know all about my dogs, they even draw pictures for me to take home for them Can’t wait to see your photos!! Megan

03.01.2022 Welcome back everyone, we hope everyone had a fantastic and safe holiday! This week, we have been enjoying sharing what we all got up to on the holidays. Despite the weather showing us all four seasons this week, we were still able to play outside on the playground and basketball court. On the playground we have enjoyed playing group tiggy, while trying not to get tagged we have been showing off our climbing abilities. Our friends have been very impressed with each other’s ca...pability to climb / weave in and out of the climbing equipment. On the basketball court we have been enjoying big games of ‘Octopus’! We love playing Octopus, it is one of our most favourite games. The children have been showing off their agility skills while trying to cross the ‘Octopus’ and ‘Seaweed / Crabs’ in the middle. We have already had so much fun and it’s only the first week of term! With Halloween and Christmas right around the corner we have a so much in store! Stay tuned!! Megan & Lexie

03.01.2022 Woooo. Fooooty day! The kids are enjoying starting their day outside in the sunshine playing a game of markers up! The kids gave each other words of encouragement for every kick and Mark, the older children gave up each of their turn for the younger kids to have a turn. It was a fun, enjoyable way to start our day! We hope everyone has a great weekend! GO CATS
