We currently require a 3rd or 4th year Light Fabrication (Sheet Metal) apprentice to fill a sought-after position based in Rockhampton. Applicants must meet the following criteria. Possess a manual licence with reliable transport.... Be punctual and have a good attendance record. Be motivated and have a positive attitude. Follow instructions well. Have a skill Set relative to the time in trade. Must possess Good Tig Welding skills. Able to read standard drawings. Fabricate to a high standard and within tolerances. Able to work safely. Be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status. Be able to work in a drug free environment and willing to undergo testing. Be open to gaining experience in all facets of the trade. On offer is the following: Long term career prospects. Current Modern Award Hourly Rates. Uniforms, PPE and Quality footwear. All College/TAFE Fee's paid for. High level of Support in the form of Apprentice mentor. Applicants with demonstrated relevant Trade experience are encouraged to apply. 06.01.2022 Congratulations to Georgia, Janey and Jett who commenced their school-based traineeships with @OSMAC Apprenticeships this week in Yeppoon. These year 12 students from Yeppoon State High School will complete their 375 hours with @Blue Care, Capricorn Aged Care facility whilst undertaking their Certificate III in Individual Support with @Blue Stone Medical. A special thanks to the teams at Blue Stone and Capricorn Aged Care for supporting these future health and community care workers.
