09.01.2022 All our Townsville staff recently attended a Stihl hands-on training day at the Townsville District Rugby Union Grounds. It's a valuable learning experience bei...ng able to use new equipment and accessories. We had a bit of fun with the SE 62 Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner. It had no trouble sucking up a tackle box of water and nuts and washers.

03.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS! This week we had the opportunity to celebrate our 2019/20 Metro South Health School-based AIN Traineeship Graduates with a low-key, intimate Gr...aduation held at Logan Hospital. Like many other events this year we weren't able to celebrate in our usual way but it was no less significant. In a year that was far from 'normal' these 14 AINs are nothing short of remarkable. Completing their traineeships during height of the COVID pandemic (April-May), they are all in the process of graduating with their QCE and 11 of them are already employed as AINs on the casual pools at Logan and Redland hospitals - and have been since they completed their traineeships. Not only have they secured employment in their chosen industry but they have all applied to enrol in Diploma or Bachelor study in Health related fields (Nursing, Paramedics and Medicine) in 2021. OSMAC Apprenticeships would like to thank Metro South Health, the Nursing & Midwifery and Nurse Education teams at Logan Hospital and Redland Hospital, TAFE Queensland and all of the schools who have supported this program. This is the 5th cohort, another 100% program completion and our best transition to employment outcome - Congratulations and thanks to all involved.
