23.01.2022 Osmoflo, as supporters of Cancer Council, recently donated its time and resources to generate awareness and contribute much needed funds, to support life-saving cancer research, by hosting a Morning Tea for Daffodil Day. Every day, 28 South Australians are diagnosed with cancer. By supporting, and raising awareness for this more than worthy cause, we are moving closer to a cancer free future. 21.01.2022 Osmoflo has been awarded the contract for the delivery of a permanent Ultra-Filtration water treatment plant for Costa Group, in Guyra NSW. Costa Group supply premium glasshouse tomatoes from their site on the New England tablelands, near Armidale in NSW, in the snacking, specialty, cocktail and large truss segments, via all major and independent supermarkets and green grocers. Guyra glasshouses have 302,400 square metres (30.22ha) of growing area (approximately 12 AFL footb...all fields) and at peak production hold more than one million plants. The new supply contract involves the delivery of a skid mounted 1,600 kLD Ultra Filtration water treatment plant complete with chemical dosing, and backwash system. This unit will replace the existing Osmoflo rental equipment on site. Osmoflo’s remote monitoring capabilities and on-site services will also be provided to assist in ongoing optimisation and to increase reliability and availably of the water treatment plant. 11.01.2022 Osmoflo appoints Neil Palmer as Chief Technology Officer! It is with great pleasure that Osmoflo announces the appointment of Mr Neil Palmer to the position of Chief Technology Officer. Neil will lead Osmoflo’s Technology and Innovation Division based at its global headquarters in Adelaide and will also lead Osmoflo’s research and development program. Neil’s recent appointment as Osmoflo’s CTO follows a long and successful association with Osmoflo dating back more than a deca...de. Neil brings with him more than 40 years’ experience in the water industry in Australia covering both public and private sectors and is also well known throughout the global water and desalination industry sectors. 06.01.2022 Osmoflo recently secured an O&M contract for water treatment plant maintenance services at a customer’s site in remote South Australia. This contract is quite unique and significant for Osmoflo as we will be providing services for 4 water treatment plants, 3 of which were built by competitor companies. This contract is valid for a 3-year period, with annual reviews of the customer’s requirements and includes O&M services, Control Centre remote monitoring and supply of spares ...and consumables to all 4 plants. This contract award is another great example of persistence and hard work by Osmoflo personnel in consistently meeting the client’s needs and ultimately gaining their confidence in our abilities. 06.01.2022 Osmoflo recently installed and commissioned a containerized SWRO plant, manufactured in the United Arab Emirates from our local fabrication facility. This plant was fabricated to Osmoflo's high standards to ensure plant longevity. The water treatment plant is now fully commissioned and in service at our client’s site. www.osmoflo.com
