21.01.2022 We love, love to hear our Oso horses are going with their new owners and these two gorgeous ponies and amazing humans just pull at my heart strings!!! Jamie and Debbie Lines completing their 3rd 20km ride from northern Queensland have totally made my year. Seeing the smiles and love for Oso Benjamin and AM Final Cascade is 2nd to none. From total beginner to completing at endurance rides... inspirational stuff!! When purchasing an Oso horse you get more than an animal you get... your forever friend. 20.01.2022 Thanks Emma @voller.park for sending this adorable picture of our 4 yr old Anglo Arabian gelding OSO SAUVIGNON ( AM Star Cascade x Savanna Queen) with their daughter Cadence . I think this shows this beautiful boys temperament off. We can’t wait for him to start his education to becoming a wonderful saddle horse. Emma and Matt also have Anglo Arabian mare and n maternal sister to Sav, OSO SORSHA (Hun x Savanna Queen) In training. 18.01.2022 Looks like our European trainers are on point at the moment. After a disappointing VO in France Oso Spiralling Wind came back with a bang in the UK winning his 3* in the UK yesterday with rider/trainer Nikki Malcolm. Huge congratulations the combination are now well on their way for the 2021 world championships!!!!!
18.01.2022 Yesterday Oso welcomed Greg Little to the farm for a visit and tour . Greg is the President of the Arabian Horse Association of Australia and it was an honor to show him our horses and facilities!!

13.01.2022 After a weekend safely tucked away getting to know his surroundings here at Oso, our beautiful 2019 colt ( yep got age wrong on last clip ) Silver Oso Showman got his first taste of a paddock in weeks! His movement is just breath taking with that powerful hock driving action he is everything we are looking for as a future sire. Not to mention his near perfect legs and feet which is so hard to come by nowadays! Heath and I took our time watching our newest edition was safe and sound.... the ducks on the dam are very scary!!!

09.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap as they say!! Mum and 2 kids all together at Oso now!!! Huge thanks to IRT ... Liz Archer... Anne brown and everyone else that has cared for Sunbeam... Solaris and Showman over the past 5 years... we are incredibly lucky to bring such amazing Crabbet genetics from the UK ... fingers crossed Sunbeam was bred to SDA Silver Legend last week a big ask from a mare who is in transition... but when the ovaries say yes we can’t miss an opportunity!!! Will sure to have more pics and film of this boy soon... xxx
09.01.2022 Huge congratulations to Rebecca Jane Pinder who trains and rides OSO IRAZU for us in Spain. The combination finished 6th FEI in the world 2020 and Irazu 10th horse. Even though endurance was not the norm last year Rebecca and husband and trainer Jairo and the grit a determination to pull off a fantastic year. One more 3* and these two are world champs qualified!!!!

Couple or Pair Required Start Mid-late October Albury NSW We are currently looking for workers to help us out over the summer months when our full-time staff all take well earned time off and our fabulous 2020 OS workers move on to their next adventures. Min 88 days but opportunity to stay on into 2021 for the right couple/pair. (Ideal for 2nd/3rd year Visa or couple wanting a career break)... One of the pair must have very good horse knowledge and experience (riding is not critical for this role but a bonus). This person must be capable of *Feeding and checking individual and groups of horses *Assist with Stud work if required (Breeding/mares and foals) *High standard of basic veterinarian care identifying illness and disease treating and administering medication *General horse care cleaning out, grooming, Washing, handling *Basic Farm maintenance *Cattle knowledge and tractor driver also a bonus. The other person must be happy to learn the ropes on the farm and have a great attitude to work and common sense. Horse experience is not needed but must love animals. 04.01.2022 5 of the 9 160km NSW State Oso horses doing their final big ride today. Super ride with moving crew points and a mock up VGIH at the end to help coach our newbies in the art of cooling and getting our athletes into vetting pronto!!! Lots of lessons learned, tweaking and fine tuning for us all! A huge year emotionally for everyone .. this is take 3 and everyone is feeling the nerves and anxiety leading into a championship ride with only a few rides under our belt as a team and a huge team ( biggest yet) but this is what we do .... we work as a team to do the very best we can for number 1 our horses then our dedicated loyal COVID team who all deserve a chance to shine ( any excuse to shy Enigma )
03.01.2022 All my favourites in one place.... a bit like a box of chocolates !!!!... our newest addition Oso M.......? Colt name required ( by Mystica Sagali out of Aloha Mamma Mia) to be named by our adoring FB family!!!! Comment below! My right ( and left) hand man Heath Rowbottom who is a master craftsman at what he does and watching him with this young colt today having his first pedicure who literally melted in his arms was beautiful. Alongside him our young incredibly talented farrier Harry Berg who has been part of the oso team for 6 years now...then Kirsty Swinton our phenomenal equine body worker after 6 months lock down in Victoria arrived to lay her much needed healing hands on our horses. It’s a breath of fresh air seeing 3 equally talented horsemen (women)come together to converse over our amazing horses
02.01.2022 Another youngster returned from Ben Hudson the very handsome OSO KALAHADIAN (HUN X KORDILASSIE). This high percentage polish gelding is not only athletic and forward moving he is also absolutely stunning!! Love his cheeky look at the camera . Both Chloe Hayden and Shea Reynolds (rider)are in charge of his next steps of his promising career!!
01.01.2022 On the eve that we depart for the NSW State Champs I’m not sure we can or could do anymore to get ready for our first and final 160km ride for the year. As a trainer this has mentally and physically been a roller coaster and I cant thank the entire Oso team for being so resilient and forward thinking this year. Every one of our 9 riders and horses deserve the chance to have a start. Since the thumbs up to restart endurance for the 3rd time this year we have not stopped. Hors...es have trained in every condition from frying one day to torrential storms... invasion of flies... wading through mud to wither high grass... grass seeds!!!... up hills... up mountains .. kms of canter work...the best farrier, dental, nutritional and veterinary care possible... riders working with physios to recover from injuries To be the very best they can on the day.... weight loss and weight gain ( horse and rider) ... tears...laughter ... more tears... more laughter. Packing, shopping more shopping did I mention shopping We have a phenomenal line up of support crew some we have not seen since covid hit!!!
