20.01.2022 This is how I feel right now, old and beaten, having suffered more than I ever have on the bike before. 166km, 3000m of elevation, gravel, single track, 3 or 4 food stops not serving food! With the help of @ryzza1976 , we made it to Forrest for a beer (but missed the kitchen being open ). Here’s to going again tomorrow!

I suffered more than I ever have, but didn’t stop, refused to be (physically) pushed up hills by @ryzza1976 (he’s a good mate!) and we made it to Forrest for beer.
