20.01.2022 Dear Patients, We have been keeping up to date with the latest facts and advice around Covid-19. We wanted to let you know that we are still open for business as usual however there are a few changes we have implemented to keep us and you as safe as possible during this time. We ask that if you or a family member have been overseas that you self-isolate for 14 days as required by the Australian Government. This includes not attending our clinic for 14 days from your return ...from overseas. We ask that if you feel unwell, have a fever, cough, runny nose, or sore throat that you reschedule your appointment for a later date after 14 days and once you are feeling well. We ask that if you do decide to stay home and not attend your appointment that you please contact us so we are aware of your choice and can reschedule your appointments. While these processes are in place for the pandemic we will be waving late cancellation fees for patients who wish to distance themselves from social interactions due to illness or recent overseas travel. We will also be implementing a few extra precautions during this time and we hope you understand. - There will be hand sanitiser in each treatment room please utilise this on entering and exiting the clinic - We are removing linen from the clinic and wiping down the table with sanitiser after each treatment. Should you wish to remain clothed for your treatment this is acceptable. - We are wiping down all areas of frequent use on a regular basis. - Signs have been placed throughout the clinic and the Metamorphica Gym with instructions on how to best wash your hands. Please look after yourselves and just as importantly look out for each other. We need to work together to not only reduce the spread of this virus but also to reduce the fear that it has created. Be kind to your neighbour, say thank you to the supermarket workers, ask the coffee shop barista how they are. Remember it’s the little acts of kindness that keep us strong and keep us together. We use gentle techniques including soft tissue massage, stretching and joint specific techniques to assist in the management of back pain, pelvic pain, neck pain, headaches and other musculoskeletal conditions that can arise due to pregnancy. 18.01.2022 One of my favourite things about living and working in Melton is how close we are to so many amazing places. This morning i took Ethan for his first bushwalk through lerdederg state park. We had a fun day out exploring one of my fav walking tracks in the area. Ill be out every Thursday morning taking Ethan hiking around lerdederg, wombat, you yangs, werribee gorge etc. If anyone is free and interested in joining in let me know, always happy to have company on the trails

We have been very fortunate to be able to remain open throughout 2020 and the Coronavirus Pandemic, and continue to do so. We thank everyone one of our clients for their support and understanding during these difficult times. Thank you to everyone who has rescheduled appointments due to having cold or flu like symptoms. We ask that this practice continues especia...lly now as we go through another wave of increased Covid-19 cases. We continue to keep up to date and follow the health guidelines from the government authorities and our osteopathic association. We will continue to uphold our high levels of hygiene; - A health screen is completed for every person who attends the clinic - Patients who have cold or flu like symptoms or who have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with Covid-19 will be asked to reschedule their appointments - Hand sanitiser is available for clients to use prior to and on completion of their treatment, - Treatment tables and chairs are cleaned after every client - Linen has been removed where possible, and if used is changed after each treatment you are more than welcome to bring your own linen - We are wearing face masks for every treatment, - All areas of high use in the clinic are cleaned regularly throughout the day. 10.01.2022 UPDATE - STAGE 4 RESTRICTIONS We hope you are well and keeping safe during 2020 and the recent new restrictions that have been implemented by the Victorian Government. During the Stage 4 restrictions Osteopathy is considered an ‘essential service’ and we are able to continue to work, however there are significant restrictions to the way we can operate. ... The Victorian government and DHHS guidelines state that we cannot have face to face contact with patients for 'routine maintenance or rehabilitation'. We can only see patients for 'Urgent Care', such as if their condition is going to significantly deteriorate to the point of being unable to perform activities of daily living, and therefore would lead to an escalation of care via GP or emergency department. What does this mean for you? We are unfortunately rescheduling all appointments that are currently booked for the duration of the Stage 4 lockdown. We will be in contact with you individually if you already have an existing appointment. If you would like to book an appointment please call 1300166246 and an osteopath will assess your eligibility based on the DHHS criteria. If you do not meet the criteria for Urgent Care we can organise a telehealth appointment to discuss your condition in further detail and give you advice on stretches, exercises and other strategies to assist in managing your condition at home.
