24.01.2022 Dynamic kids are doing telehealth sessions. The sessions are creative and interactive and we have had loads of positive feedback about the sessions. 19.01.2022 This post is to update our clients and service partners on the actions that OTDynamics/Dynamic kids has taken as a result of Covid-19. We are committed to ensuring the safety of our clients and staff. We have measures in place to minimize the risk of infection. We are following the advice of both the department of health and human services and the australian government of health and we are taking the following steps:... * meticulous hand hygiene at all times * hand sanitizer for staff and clients * increased cleaning of all of our clinics * self quarantine measures for any staff returning from overseas * no staff to attend work with any cold/flu symptoms We also encourage our clients to follow the recommended guidelines. 19.01.2022 Our staff wall is growing! We are delighted to welcome Els Tielemans, Speech Pathologist to our team. Els has 20 years of clinical experience. She started her career in Belgium before moving to Australia in the early 2000s. Els is passionate about working with children and their families, and strives to help each individual become independent and authentic communicators. Amongst her broad range of skills Els has a particular interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) methods. We are very lucky to have her on board. Welcome Els!!

18.01.2022 To all our wonderful clients, stage 3 lockdowns will be with us yet again from Thursday. I encourage everyone to take care of themselves, to stay strong and to be kind to yourselves (especially with home schooling,). We will be continuing to provide telehealth services and limited face to face sessions. We have all of our Covid 19 hygiene and safety procedures well practiced so you can be confident in our services. Our very own Jen....speech pathologist and singing sensation will be on stage this Friday along with some of Ballarats best musicians and artists to raise money for the Victorian Bushfire Disaster Appeal. All money from ticket purchases (excluding ticketing fees) will be donated to the Bendigo Banks Community Enterprise Foundation established for the Victorian Bushfires.

14.01.2022 The situation regarding coronavirus (covid-19) is changing fast and we want to reassure you that our team at OT Dynamics are committed to continuing to provide therapy services safely and effectively. We have implemented telehealth for many of our services. This is where we provide our service on a device through Zoom or Skype or over the phone. Our therapists have been busy making contact to help you to work in this new and exciting way. We are doing limited home visits an...d when we do we are following the strict protocols that the government has mandated to protect you and our team. We would like to assist our clients through this very tough time, if you need some advice please contact our office and we will help. We also say goodbye to Sarah our OT who is going on Maternity leave today. We wish her all the very best and we look forward to zoom cuddles of the baby! Take care everyone.

12.01.2022 Just a reminder to all our wonderful clients. We continue to offer telehealth sessions if you would prefer that to a face to face session. Our clinicians are very skilled at making the most of your therapy sessions via telehealth. In our face to face sessions, we are introducing the use of masks (where it is appropriate to do so). This is in line with the Departments recommendations and to further ensure that you are safe and that we are doing our best within the community. Once again thanks for your support and we will continue to work through this together.

12.01.2022 Over the next few weeks we are sad to be saying bye for now to a few of our close knit staff members. Saraid is leaving to move closer to her family and Sarah will be having some time off to welcome a new member to her family! 10.01.2022 We are successfully doing telehealth with our Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Psychology sessions for kids and adults. Telehealth is where we provide the face to face therapy via a device such as a phone, computer or tablet. Many of our parents have welcomed the opportunity to start therapy goals with their child. ... Some of our very experienced clinicians have vacancies, so now is an opportunity to get a great service. 09.01.2022 We are proud to say that in our recent office cleanup we donated our old technology to the non for profit charity organisation @flashdrivebeyondtheclassroom. They offer high-quality refurbished computers (and repair and support) at affordable rates for people who might not normally be able to buy or pay for this type of equipment or services. They also have programs specifically for people with disabilities who want to learn more about technology. We are glad we can give back to the community!

It focuses on the impact of a persons disability or medical condition on commencing or returning to driving. During Covid-19, Occupational Therapy Driving Assessors will complete a pre-screen health check, and follow strict hygiene guidelines implemented by Vic Roads, to ensure everyones health and safety is maintained. ... 03.01.2022 With more people working from home at the moment it is important to ensure that the environment is setup in an appropriate way to prevent injury. At OT Dynamics our Occupational Therapists can provide a telehealth ergonomic assessment to assist your worker to setup their home office environment in a safe and sustainable way. The overall goal is to minimise risks of developing any injury and maximise productivity whilst working from home. The assessment involves assessing a ...number of key factors including: - Physical work demand - Posture - Workstation design and the equipment being used - Keyboard use - Environmental factors, such as lighting and noise. A routine can help build structure and purpose into your week, as well as assist you to accomplish more tasks during the day. It can also help with switching off from work/school now that we are spending more time at home. Having your routine written down is a great way of building routine into your week.
