13.01.2022 Who is for a mini Melbourne Cup catch @ Otford Community and Garden Association next tuesday - if someone has any ways of getting a TV or internet connexion, we can bring a projector. Then we can do a watering and planting session in the garden???!!!

10.01.2022 Thanks Phil Preston for the event below: Slow Cook Sunday - Cheap and easy Sunday dinner available next week (Sunday 23rd) at the tennis club from 5pm. Hi all - fancy a mild butter chicken or stroganoff for dinner next weekend? I'll be at the tennis court clubhouse from midday cooking up the butter chicken and will be joined by recent arrival Joyce Nicolai on the stroganoff. It's not a formal event - just a chance for you to ditch the apron, have a yummy dinner (with rice) an...d meet some neighbours in the process. We'll be suggesting a donation of say $5 or $6 to cover costs, and any profits will go to the community garden association. If it doesn't get eaten it goes in the freezer which is fine by me too. BYO plate / cutlery and we'll serve it up for you. I'll drop a reminder on here closer to the time, but otherwise not promoting outside of the immediate area. Also, I wanted to use this note to let immediate neighbours know - Bernie Baer, Mark Barnfield, Neville Scott as well as Pauline Lacelles-Smith . Plan to pack it up by 6.30pm or so. 08.01.2022 A lot of discoveries againat the garden today: nice mowers, a few tomatoes, beans, beans seeds to plant, rocket coming, cucumbers (big)......see you there on the 2d feb, if not before and thanks Mark, Kelly, Lachlan, Andwoo, Gaetane....#communitygarden

04.01.2022 What to do: mown the lawn, remove growing ferns, removing one bed of Kale (you'll see which one), weeding, clearing beans by harvetsing spinach, clearing melons by harvesting spinach, netting tomatoes...and watering..and bring your compost. 5pm (ask Otford Community and Garden Association for the keys if you know you can make it on time.
