If your child is reluctant... to have both a nose and a throat swab, you can ask the health care worker collecting the swab to complete either a nose or throat swab. If you have any questions or concerns about your child getting tested, you can speak to your GP. COVID-19 symptoms can include fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell or loss of taste, as well as other reported symptoms including fatigue, runny nose, muscle pain, joint pain, headache, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting and loss of appetite.
