25.01.2022 From Cambridge Brain Sciences - Verbal working memory is involved in many everyday tasks, from remembering your friend's telephone number while you enter it into your phone, to understanding long and difficult sentences. Think about it; how could you understand a whole sentence if you couldn't remember the words at the beginning long enough to connect with the words at the end! Verbal working memory is also thought to be one of the elements underlying intelligence (or 'IQ');... thus, the digit span task is a common component of many IQ tests, including the widely used WAIS (Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scales). 17.01.2022 Feedback from one of my adult clients who invested in the Listeing Program for herself - After completing the sound therapy, The Listening Program, I experienced a state of clarity, with a clear mind I noticed a change in my thinking pattern. I was able to formulate structured sentences from words that have been previously whirling around my head. I also felt as though I was able to hold onto new information and build on it, as previously the words would pass through like a... sieve. My energy levels noticeably increased. It is my fervent drive to improve quality of lives in effective ways. The Listening Program's beautifully produced therapeutic music has been part of my effective therapy programs in children's and families lives for many years.
