25.01.2022 We all know your regular C coffee makes you feel good, but it might not feel as good to know that most coffee waste goes into landfill. That is why OTR are proud to be part of the Human Beans - Grounds for Good project. Together with Neutrog Australia, Foodbank, Detpak and BioBag World Australia, we’re working on a solution to get coffee out of landfill and into your garden instead. When the Human Beans fertiliser product is for sale via key OTR stores next year, every 1kg pack will contain 25 coffees, so if you purchase a bag it will put 5 meals on the table of South Australians in need via Foodbank SA. Dear valued OTR South Australian Customers, As the lockdown situation continues to evolve, please be assured that OTR is following the advice and working with Government and Health authorities, where needed. In response to confusion around operating guidelines for fuel stations during the State's rapid COVID-19 lockdown, we closed Hungry Jacks, Oporto, Wokinabox, Guzman y Gomez, and Subway outlets associated with OTR operations across South Australia. These will remain closed until government advice changes. We apologise to any essential workers who relied on these food offers at OTR. In line with other convenience stores and supermarkets, OTR will continue to sell ready-to-go meals including packed sandwiches, bakery items and fresh-packed salads, pending further direction. We know that many essential workers, truck drivers and couriers rely on these meals 24/7 during their work shifts, and the work they are undertaking supports the whole community. OTR is committed to assisting the State's efforts to counter the spread of COVID-19 and has offered to work with authorities and industry groups to ensure a consistent approach to product and service offerings across the retail sector. Once again, we thank all our customers and team members for remaining united in our commitment to get through this together. WAYS TO HELP MINIMISE YOUR RISK Use hand sanitiser, which is available at all OTR sites Wear a mask at all times when outside your home (masks are available to purchase in all OTR stores) Pay at the pump for your fuel with OTR App Pre-order your essentials for your once daily shopping trip; and collect instore or via our Drive Thru (where available) Make payment by card rather than cash as much as possible. Our supply chain has increased deliveries to ensure our customers can continue to access the essentials, including high demand products such as face masks, sanitiser, toilet paper, tissues, paper towel, pasta and flour. We ask for your patience should any shortages be experienced and encourage all customers to ONLY buy what they need that day. 20.01.2022 COVID-19 SOUTH AUSTRALIAN CUSTOMER UPDATE: Well, thank goodness we can nearly take our finger off the pause button! Like you all, we’re looking forward to getting back to normal. Just a quick update from us on OTR service over the next few days as we all come out of lockdown.... Until 11:59pm Saturday, OTR can sell ready-to-go meals including packed sandwiches, fresh-packed salads and cold bakery items including Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and supermarket products. By law, we cannot sell any takeaway food, including Moe’s Dog & Shake products, C Coffee products or any hot bakery items. From 12am Sunday morning, we hope to bring you the full range of OTR products. All Truckie Lounges and Roadhouses at OTR will continue to operate with seated dining and full wash/shower facilities for truck drivers. Like all South Australians, we want this lockdown to succeed, and are committed to follow all COVID Safe practices for the protection of our guests. Thanks for supporting OTR.
