22.01.2022 It's such a stunning morning this morning, all misty and grey and not too cold. And it's a Friday which means Home made family pizza tonight ! Happy almost weekend lovelies. X

18.01.2022 My new honey twirlers have me all a little bit excited. After very little sleep last night (senile cats waking me at 2, small children taking over the bed at 3 and an alarm going off at 5 which I chose rightly or wrongly to ignore) I think honey twirler excitement is a completely appropriate response to the madness of my life this week. @slowgatheringsbarossa Is on today (assuming the rain doesn’t thwart us) and there are markets on Saturday I am attending with @thehundredmilehome at the Barossa Regional Gallery. From 12 - 5pm I just keep thinking - one foot in from of the other and I can sleep in on Sunday. I can sleep in on Sunday. I can sleep in on Sunday ! ! Um, yes, a little madness. X Ilona

13.01.2022 So a few weeks ago I was invited to partake in the shooting of an All The Things Australia Your Tube clip for picking and preserving pine cones. It was loads of fun. Check out the link to Cheries gorgeous plant based food love. X Ilona

10.01.2022 I love how the speckles are like freckles or finger prints. Caused by iron in the body of this South Australian stoneware being pulled to the surface (in a type of firing known as reduction firing), each and every piece is completely unique. I have restricted myself to using this clay and any I may hand dig, of which there will be some new pieces in hand dug white stoneware in 2018 (which is super exciting for me). The reason for this is my commitment to try and make things as local as possible, in every way I can. I will post a little more about this in coming days and weeks if anyone is interested? Would love a yay or nay. I promise I wont be offended either way :) Happy new week lovelies X Ilona
