14.01.2022 Hey guys, I've been informed of some inappropriate and unprofessional behavior and language used by a club member/volunteer on Friday night that has upset some guests who witnessed it. The couple attending were to disturbed by what they heard, they came into my kitchen while I was cooking so they could quote what was said word for word. I believe them as they are good people with no axe to grind. If you witnessed any of the vile language used by this person, please contac...t me, as this is a family orientated venue with a pleasant and cheerful atmosphere, and this behavior by 1 bad egg needs to be stamped out. If you did witness it and are willing to make a statement please let me know. As I'm so outraged by this that I would like to press charges against this person (Slander so far) but would like more witnessed transcript so I can pursue as many violations as possible. Sorry for such a serious post, but behavior like this could destroy all the hard work put in to build a business and people like this think that their untouchable and need to be held accountable. 12.01.2022 Thankyou to the organisers of Operation Pot Shot,for your wonderful response to the job our team preformed over the weekend. Such a lovely touch to bring the whole team out so that the guests could show their appreciation. So proud and pleased to hear the applause and cheers from the guests. Our team did such a magnificent job in all departments, in that "Can do" attitude of our service, and with such diligence and attentiveness all with a natural smile. True hospitality!... Also to the guests who were "dressed to impress". They hit the dance floor early and didn't stop all night. (Great band too!) Thank you for making it such a memorable night, all class. 09.01.2022 Due to the recent actions taken against us, we have been left with no option of proceeding with our catering business at this present time. The strain and stress caused by this situation has been so intense that it's resulted in concern for our personal well-being. Having our business and main source of income abruptly taken away from us has devastated Linda and I and left us questioning our ideals of community spirit. We now desire to distance ourselves from this curr...ent oppressive situation to clear our heads and to seek advice on how to proceed. We would like to apologize to our regular customers for any inconvenience this situation has caused and would like to reassure our current bookings that we will make alternative arrangements for a premise to operate from to ensure that we won't let you down. 04.01.2022 Hi Guys, Regretfully we won't be open tonight. The exerted effort of this week issues has exhausted us both physically & mentally. Or commitments to our upcoming bookings deserve our full and professional attention and service that we pride ourselves on. So a night off will ensure that and we will be ready for Bryan and Jo's farewell tomorrow in a manner and service that quality people like them deserve, we wish them well in their next adventure.... We would like to also state that at no time have we intended any malice or ill will toward the Exmouth yacht club or it's members. This community minded organisation and their desire to achieve quality sailing possibilities for the local youth is admirable and we believe we are helping them toward that goal. Our previous post was meant to uphold and defend it's integrity and it's family friendly image. I apologise to anybody that had a different interpretation . Thanks Ian & Linda. See more
